Two sources told WFTV on Monday that gunman George Zimmerman could be arrested this week, and that a Grand Jury will not meet on Tuesday.
Zimmerman has been in hiding because of threats, after he shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. He claims he shot Martin in self-defense.
Jacksonville State Attorney Angela Corey has the sole authority to determine whether Zimmerman will be charged for killing Martin.
Governor Rick Scott put Corey in charge of the case late last month amid concerns that State Attorney Norm Wolflinger wouldn't do a thorough and fair investigation.
"You've got to make sure justice prevails. I'm comfortable that the State Attorney Angela Corey will make that happen," Scott said.
In Florida, first-degree murder cases must be heard by a Grand Jury, which means Corey can only charge Zimmerman with third-degree murder, second-degree or manslaughter.
However, because Zimmerman fired his gun and Martin died, which means Zimmerman could still face life in prison without parole, WFTV found out.
Natalie Jackson is one of the attorneys representing Martin's family and told WFTV she wasn't surprised by Corey's decision.
"We believe justice dictates that he will be charged," said Jackson. "If justice and the procedures were followed, then yes, all of this could've been avoided."

The establishment needs Zim to be charged so the race war will NOT start- -or at least will be delayed until after the trial.

I absolutely believe it will be reviewed by a Grand Jury.
I’ve postulated that the reason they mention that no grand jury is set to to be presented with any evidence not because of the scarcity of any felonious evidence but simply a ruse in an effort by blacks, left-wing liberals to mislead people into believing Zimmerman has not committed any crime but with time will absolutely present the case to a grand jury against Zimmerman in the strongest way possible. They are not going to allow such a grand racial opportunity to pass through their hands. “White people are gonna pay” is definitely what they have in mind.

If there was chithot evidence, then warrants would have already been sworn out.
There is no revisiting the crime scene, no missing evidence to be found, no hidden testimony by as yet unknown witnesses, the things that can be subpoenaed have been.
If Zimmerman is arrested, it will be for political expediency. All of us who are interested in defending ourselves, our families, and neighborhoods should be VERY concerned if that happens.
I understand that, but it doesn't change the fact that the title is misleading. It would have helped if you had mentioned that the title did not reflect the content of the article though, but you did nothing wrong and I was not chiding you.
I'd rather see a country that has a fair justice system.
If the blacks want to threaten the rights we have in this country then a race war it is.

You could have stopped right there. A trial -and if it ever happens, I doubt it'll go further than a prelim- will do exactly ZERO to quell the clamoring, and in all likelihood, will exacerbate it. Pulling the plug on this GJ was smart. Continuing a nice looooooooong "investigation" is also smart.
Zimmerman does not need a trial to facilitate seeking applicable damages either.
Poor Zimmerman probably voted for the president who gave nodding approval to the lynch mob about to hang him.

It is not at all my responsibility, duty of any poster to edit any title, article content, to determine the veracity of the title of any article, whether or not the article's content is accurately portrayed as assessed in the title, in an effort to reflect what someone like yourself may misinterpret, or who have a problem with the concept of the way sites like Free Republic operate.
As a matter of fact, in the case of article titles, posters are discouraged in the most intense way not to edit titles, precisely because of situations like the one you've just created.
The issues you've expressed that irk you should be taken up with the site moderator and not the poster, especially so when I posted the title/content precisely the way it was originally posted.
I suggest you employ a proof-reader if this presents a problem of such magnitude for you.
Maybe he just figured that when the case came to trial he would be in middle of his election campaign, it has the potential to lose him white votes and not gain black ones. So he was just looking out for number one.
