Don’t worry so much about the spelling. I used to be a very good speller tho not so much on grammar. I have noticed recently that I often make mistakes which if I had looked carefully, I would not have made.
I no longer correct others because it might have been me doing the same thing.

I make spelling mistakes too. However, I don't write professionally, much less for an internationally-renowned news organization.

I no longer correct others because it might have been me doing the same thing. I don't know why people think they have to correct others spelling errors anyway. I think they have a name for it.
