In a sane world, one would think the extension of the world battlespace would include 'space' itself.

But, this isn't a sane world, and certainly not a sane country (US) now. The next battlespace for us in the final conflict will be the media, urban cities, and illegal immigrant incursion causing a social and moral breakdown of the publicized citizenry - with biding acceptance from 'normal' America. Until they can bear it no more.
