Romney Wins Wisconsin Primary (narrowly)
National Journal ^ | April 3, 2012

Mitt Romney won the Republican primary in Wisconsin Tuesday night, after earlier sweeping primaries in Maryland and the District of Columbia, Fox News projects. The big night for Romney does serious damage to chief rival Rick Santorum’s underdog campaign while adding significantly to the front-runner's already imposing lead.

Not looking good for your preferred candidate.

Romney isn't my preferred candidate but I can't root for Obama like some Freepers.

“Romney is the Cod Liver Oil candidate. They say it will be good for you, and some will hold their nose and take it. ..”

Too many voters did the same thing with McCain, and look what happened. Will Republican voters ever learn?

But there’s still time for them to wake up, but they better hurry up.

I won't say fixed bud, I think there are multiple factors. The worst was the lynching of Herman Cain by the WHITE LIBERAL MEDIA. Newt did awesome in SC and got a lot of folks including myself on the bandwagon then fizzled like a stale cigarette.

Everyone I know voted for Rick Santorum in the IL Primary and Romney won big time!

Sorry to say this but Mittens has it wrapped up, if NY and CA don't go for Mittens I'll eat crow, but if it comes down to Mittens and Zero. I met Zero.

I met Obama in the summer of 2005, my mother was still alive at the time and I called her and told her that I met the next President, and I think this guy is the most evil person I've met.

My mom passed away in September of 2008. She suffered for 10 years surviving pancreatic cancer, as miserable and sad I am she is not around, I'm glad she isn't enduring the reign of this tyrant.

My mother meant everything to me, she was a right wing conservative died suddenly of a heart attack, when I was 25. She'll never see me get married, have kids, live a wonderful life, but she died as a conservative at heart!

If I sat out this election I would be spitting on my mother's grave. I would vote for Hillary, CM Punk, The Rock, John Edwards Mistress, Bob Barker, Charlie Sheen's hooker, Brad Pitt or even the corpse of Andrew Jackson before I would vote for Obama.

I've met him in person, I have his autograph, I talked to him a good 10 minutes one on one!!!

I voted Santorum but wouldn't hesitate voting Mittens over this tyrant.

I really need to specify, if you have not met Barack Obama in person, you cannot fathom how evil this man is when you gaze into his eyes.

Romney is the underwhelming candidate.

In Wisconsin just over 40 percent support and even in liberal Maryland he couldn’t break past 49 percent.

Most Republican voters don’t want Mitt Romney....

Now that Romney’s practically anointed, does this mean he will start moving toward the center for the general election? He doesn’t have much room to maneuver there. Maybe a millimeter.

It would certainly help if he’d move hard to the right instead.

Republican Candidates could improve their Primary vote count by campaigning with the following idea:

Due to the FHA, Fannie and Freddie Bankruptcies of September, 2008, American home owners lost 30 % of the value of their homes. That is a 30 % cut in just one month. Home values are still down 30 %.

Thus, let us cut the total compensation to all elected Federal politicians, and their staffs by 30 %, and an additional 10 % cut to elected Federal politicians each year until Federal Spending is LESS THAN the average of the previous 2 years of Federal income.

BTW, since slightly less than half of the US House, and 2/3 of the US Senate are Millionaires, it will be a great opportunity for Congress to lead by example that EVERYONE should give up their “fair” share of the American Dream.

What better way can there be to demonstrate that Federal politicians are on the same page as the voters?

Wow, Dengar. You actually gazed into the eyes of true evil.
You can see it in pictures of him but in person, those dark rageful eyes must be piercing and frightening.

When I first heard Bamster give the speech at the DNC convention, I turned to whomever I was with and said “There’s the next President”.
They laughed at me but I knew..I just knew.

On principle, I won’t be casting a ballot for Mittens, however. I have voted for my last Rino and despite what people are telling me, I will not be the one responsible for Romney’s defeat in November.

If Hussein gets reelected it will be partly because of the stupidity of the GOP-E who by nominating a candidate devoid of a core and honor, have lost party members like me.

But mostly it will be due to a repeat of that illiterate segment of the voting electorate, the drones, exercising their “rights” one more time to reelect a Marxist/Socialist dictator who has made no attempt to hide his intentions to destroy our country.
God help us all.

Won by over 4 points. (Narrowly) Had Santorum won by that margin, it would have been; (Stunning Blow-out)

But there is also information in the Exit Polls that there were 4% Democrat crossover prank voters who tried to upset Romney by voting for Santorum. This sounds valid, because before the vote, Romney had a solid 8 point lead for over a week.

I listened to as much of Mitt’s speech as I could stand, and he praised 3 presidents - LBJ, FDR, and Lincoln.

You weren't listening closely. He listed those as presidents Obama had compared himself favorably to.

Do you understand how ridiculous you sound?

You are condemning the evil of Obama,(Which is true) as well as predicting him destroying our country, yet you will not vote if Romney is the nominee because you refuse to be a part him losing in November, because if there are enough of your kind of fool who refuse to vote because you claim to have “Principle's”, that in itself guarantees that Obama will win. (And you will claim you had nothing to do with it.)

Denial is just another form of insanity and you have it bad!

Yes, but Romney implied that Obama had no business comparing himself to such “great” presidents. I believe he even said something about all the good things LBJ had done.

Your loud mouthed attacks on everyone and anyone here at FR who stands up for their priniciples...is disgusting..and so are you.

Don’t you have anything to do, Psycho? Like a job? Or do you prefer to sit at your computer in your mother’s basement in your wife beater with oatmeal dribbling down your chin..and lash out anonymously at those who don’t agree with you.

This is a free country. I’ll vote for whomever I want..or not.
And I do more for Conservative efforts in one day that you have probably done in your lifetime.

Well, we tried. It was a good show, a fair 2nd place.

Thank you to all Newt supporters in WI who voted for Santorum to stop Romney. That was very decent of you. I know the voting doesn’t show the true value of Gingrich but the hard fight against Romney. So, thanks. That was wise.

Let’s keep fighting. Give Santorum a big home state win before May when we return to the South.
