The Florida funeral director who handled the burial of Trayvon Martin says there were no signs of a scuffle on the dead teen, contradicting...

I believe Wildhighlander57 should be the judge of that. He honestly admitted he was hearing impaired, and in reference to having to listen to the Funeral Director, both he and I are fortunate to have reasons we didn't hear it. Since you shouldn't believe half of what you see, and nothing of what you hear, Wildhighlander57 is lucky, in that instance, in that he doesn't have to tolerate the BS.
Sure there are things that WHL57 can't hear that he/she would like, but pitying my friends is not my bag.
Since communication on FR eliminates all vocal and visible physical communication, and leaves only the written word, WHL57 is on equal ground with everyone else, so he can 'speak' for himself.
P.S. I am not offended by your remark. Thank you for giving me a chance to explain what might have been 'perceived' by more than just you as me 'being mean'.
not hitting him in the nose, which is very soft, nor holding his head and banging it against the concrete. (regardless the inuries zimmerman sustained are proven facts at this point)
OTOH if there are no bruises to TMs face or body than it shows he was the initiator/agressor and remained in control of the confrontation until zimmerman defended himself.
The nearest 7-Eleven appears to be 2.2 miles from the townhouse. However, there are a lot of places a lot closer where you could buy or obtain Skittles and Arizona Tea. For instance, you'd be walking past a sizable strip mall and a Walmart Supercenter.
So.... do we know which 7-11 he went to?
I read (everything on the internet is true) in an account by someone familiar with the neighborhood, that the nearest 7-11 was 6 miles away.
I was thinking earlier of the maps of his neighborhood (of his Dad’s girlfriend’s neighborhood) and doing google maps to see where the 7-11’s were, but I didn’t remember the exact location.
There were some pretty good maps displayed on the TM threads.
For Example: "Where Tray?"
"Uh... went to 7-11 to get Skittles and Iced Tea for the shorties".
I’ll make this discussion short and sweet:
The media has no blinking business interviewing this funeral director for any kind of real information. As though, when the body was at the funeral home, this director thought this particular boy were any special person and, so, really has any clear memory of his condition— just knowing that, some day, there would be all this publicity about this boy. Right??
The whole thing SMELLS to high heaven. Journalism is a thing of the past.
I’ve read that “Skittles” and “Arizona Tea” are street code for a couple of drugs.
So, did he have Skittles and Arizona Tea on his person? Or, did he have “Skittles” and “Arizona Tea”? Or, neither at all. Or both. Has this info been released?
He may have been sticking his cell phone into his waistband.
I punch to the nose is not going to leave marks. A punch to the side of the head or some other harder surface of the body would. Like you, I am no expert in this.
I just find it really odd that someone would have suggested that the Martin kid would have showed any signs of a struggle if he had gotten the upper hand in the fight, exeppting of course a gun shot wound that ended whatever struggle took place.
Okay, so why would the media take the funeral director’s statement as an indication in support of the Martin kid? Forget the obvious answer, let’s give them credit they are acting responsibly. What is the media seeing or are they just not thinking it through?
“Here is a question I had.
What teenager walks 6 miles each way to go to 7-11 to get Skittles and AZ-IT for his 20 year old cousin?”
Indeed.
Is the circle the injury?
That what looks like a meandering river - is that his hair or bruising?
The witnesses agreed that there was a fight. If Zimmerman had injuries and Trayvon didn’t it should be pretty easy to know who swung first...
The question....Was there powder stippling on Martin. If so he was shot up close. If there was no powder stippling he was shot at a distance. If he was shot at a distance Mr. Zimmerman “got some ‘spainin’ to do”. If was powder burns on Martin or his clothing there had to be close contact. Where is the autopsy report?
[Since communication on FR eliminates all vocal and visible physical communication, and leaves only the written word, WHL57 is on equal ground ]
Well, that’s not quite true, since as you pointed out, he/she was lucky because he/she could not ‘hear’ the “vocal” on the video.
I lost much hearing around 30 yrs of age. I doubt you have any concept of how such an ‘unseen’ disability affects ones life.
Your repeated comments would be like telling a blind person they were lucky because they could not ‘see’ a video nor read the articles.
I know you were not meaning to be unkind, but it was thoughtless. We are not ‘lucky’.
Now Mr. Hillary is getting in on “rethinking” stand your ground laws. This is all just and effort to banning weapons of all kinds and trashing the 2nd.
What is that image?
Zimmerman from the police video. Did you click on the link?
I haven't heard ANYTHING about where the Skittles and AZ Tea were. If he was getting them for his cousin (or brother), they should be recorded in the police and investigators’ reports. No mention.
He may have been putting his cell phone in his waistband. May have been. My question: where was the entry wound? To the chest yes, but close to the heart? If in the heart that might explain no postmortem bruising, if I understand a few Freeper posts upthread.
If I had to choose between being able to see my family members or being able to hear them I’d rather hear them any day of the week. I feel your pain.
I think he was trying to make light, sort of like somebody joking about another person being lucky to be blind since they have a wife who looks like crap. Maybe not such a funny joke to a person who’s really blind.
I agree with you, and also — it seems to me that this is part of another effort to silence anyone and everyone who even thinks about fighting back. Ranchers aren’t allowed to fight back against the criminal invaders who poison their cows and want to rape their wives. (The ranchers are shot dead or they go to prison and lose their land for fighting back.)
Now, those who had to escape the frightening inner-cities the leftists created, are getting a message to not fight back in any way.
