With all the usual caveats about early polls in play, the generally reliably trending USA TODAY/Gallup Poll has seen a rather abrupt turn in the battleground states over the past month among one demographic. Women.

McCain may very well have gotten us into a World War....to say McCain is a loose cannon is an understatement.

Hillary as VP will give the Marxist Manchild from Kenya another term in office...

Obozo isn't that stupid -- he's an Alinskyite, too. With Hillary in the VP chair, Obozo's second term would be "colorful, exciting, and short."

"While women typically are more likely to identify themselves as Democrats than men are, that difference widens to a chasm in the USA TODAY poll. By 41%-24%, women call themselves Democrats; men by 27%-25% say they're Republicans.

The survey of 933 registered voters, taken March 20-26, has a margin of error of +/- 4 points. The swing states surveyed are Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin."

So many errors, so little time, so much fail:

These polls are meaningless. Once the GOP has a nominee and we can then focus on Obama and his record, the numbers will change significantly. High unemployment, massive debt, high gas and food prices, etc. will sink Obama who can’t defy the laws of political gravity. The 2010 midterms were the harbinger of things to come in 2012.

Cut it out Psycho. Santorum can’t be blamed for splitting the vote, but we know who polls lower than Rick with women and he is the one with the second fewest delegates.

So cut the hate. Both Rick and Newt are done. They both look exhausted and I give them more credit than I do any of us. They got out there and actually worked to stop Romney rather than running off at the mouth on an internet forum and falling for silly polls that make the Kenyan clown look like a winner.

Sarah was extremely angry with McCain because he just gave up and let Obama and the Democrats take charge of the election.

This is what happens when Senators run for the Presidency. They have no clue how to conduct Executive Protocol. They also have problems with knowing how to win national elections. We don't need any more Senator trainees in the White House! This one about killed us!

“Romney isn’t Reagan....he isn’t even one of the Bushes.”

Few are Reagan's, and if Reagan were around today I think he would find the media even worse than they were when he ran (consider what NBC just did with the the 911 tape from the Sanford police department). That said, our side hasn't even begun to use the left’s and Obama’s records against them. I'm not a Romney fan by any stretch, and would love to have a Newt Gingrich without the personal baggage that hurt him. That said, I do believe that Romney can win, and I also strongly believe that there is a big difference between him and Obama. Obama’s goal is to totally restructure American society, consistent with his inflammatory and racially motivated ideology that was likely at least partially impressed upon him by people like Bell, Ayers, and Wright. We have to coalesce and do our best to prevent him from another term.

I wouldn’t be terribly shocked of a VP switch, however if it were ME, I’d do it sooner.

Like, the day the GOP formally nominates Romney and whoever as VP.

That’d take some air out of the room, wouldn’t it?

Assuming Mitt is the nominee, I am voting for him. He was not my first choice, but he is light years ahead of Obama.

Agreed. How anyone in their right mind can consider voting for Obama is simply astounding. I would love to see the breakdown of this poll.

the candidates need to start talking about all the dirt that’s been coming out on him. Make him look like the crooked chicago politician that he is.

It won't matter -- those ideological women voters are blind to everything except what they want to see, their "vision". By teasing up reproductive issues, Obozo is rattling their chains, they just don't know it.

Giving women the vote was a civilizational mistake that will kill the Republic. Women don't want anything like what men do from government, and the Republic was constructed around a male electorate. Women's brain processes make them the very, very last people anyone anywhere should want next to the levers of republican government, and that's even allowing for real exceptions like Margaret Thatcher and Sarah Palin.

Overeducated, barren, man-hating Democrat women will turn America into a despotate, and then a wasteland -- like something out of Hellboy.

Do Mormon women get to be gods of their own planet? No? That’ll be another quiver in Obama’s batch of arrows this fall.

Then why are you supporting Santo when you know he can't win, and it is now starting to ruin our chance of beating Obama?

If you want to quell the anger towards Santorum that is starting to grow rapidly on our side, then talk some sense into the idiot. It has nothing to do with hate, it has everything to do with common decency and a sense of duty to the health of this country.

He’s winning the free government contraceptive, free government abortion vote.

You're point is only half right since RomneyCare started out with $50 dollar abortions and their now free.
