George Zimmerman is a concerned citizen who protects his neighborhood by volunteering in the local watch program
, And all that he was authorized to do was to watch. Not confront
and is legally allowed to carry a firearm. George was out on patrol as part of the watch program,
Zimmerman was not authorized to confront ANYONE. Carrying the gun made him feel like he was a policeman.
identified a situation that was abnormal enough to contact the 911 emergency number and request the police.
And what was that abnormal situation? Zimmerman observed and reported NO CRIME. He did not report Martin breaking into a car. Ne did not report Martin peeking into windows. The "abnormal situation" was in Zimmerman's own mind
He then attempted to maintain eye contact with the suspect and when he lost sight of them, returned towards his vehicle when he was attacked and viciously beaten by a punk kid who tried to take his firearm from him.
Nothing you have posted here is supported by the facts. There is no evidence that Martin "tried to take Zimmerman's firearm". What you have posted is total BS
George then shot the kid during the struggle.
Yes he shot Martin because Zimmerman was losing the fight that he most likely started with his actions of trying to play wanna-be cop. At no time is there any evidence that Zimmerman was attacked with anything except fists. Yet he decided to respond to fists with a gun. That is over the line
He remained at the location and received medical treatment by the EMS for the injuries received which included a broken nose.
In the police tape showing Zimmerman immediately AFTER the fight there is NO indication of a "broken nose" as Zimmerman claims. There are no dressings on Zimmerman's face or even on the back of his head.
Zimmerman is lying. Even the police investigating this case did not believe Zimmerman's story. They recommended filing manslaughter and reckless endangerment charges against Zimmerman. The truth will come out

George was out on patrol as part of the watch program, No, he was out running a personal errand.
identified a situation that was abnormal enough to contact the 911 emergency number and request the police.
No, he called the Sanford Police non-emergency number. I think that is an important distinction for several reasons.
He then attempted to maintain eye contact with the suspect
He lost sight of Martin while still on the phone with police. It is fair to conclude that he attempted to spot him again after hanging up - not "maintain" but "regain" eye contact.
and when he lost sight of them, returned towards his vehicle when he was attacked and viciously beaten by a punk kid who tried to take his firearm from him.
That, reportedly, is Zimmerman's version of what happened. To date we have seen no witness statements as to how the fight actually started. Absent such witness statements, of course, there is no evidence to either support or contradict this version.

What racial slur??...The 9-11 operator asked white, black, hispanic....He said "I think black"
Some people must have just arrived on a boat or they evidently are watching 0media only.

You are buying into the lying media version of events. He was returning to his vehicle when he was attacked. In "Dirty Harry" mode there is no way he would have been knocked down and injured; it would have been his "make my day" moment.
If Zimmerman's account of events is true then why did the investigating homicide detective recommend filing manslaughter charges against Zimmerman? Please explain that.

He did listen to the 911 operator and left well enough alone. He was walking back to his SUV.

I’m encouraged someone other than me is aware of such important details like Z worried T was listening to his conversation, and the next round not chambering, and what FACTS like that imply.
Because I’ll tell you what, there is some mindboggling stupidity here when it comes to comprehending the available evidence.

George Zimmerman is 1) a Dirty Harry wannabe who 2) picked a fight with someone whom 3) he mistakenly accused of wrongdoing and 4) lost control of the situation he created, then 5) probably panicked, shooting Trayvon Williams during 6) the scuffle.
Good summary of the current spin. You managed to include at least 5 characterizations for which there is no evidence before coming to the fact of a shooting just before minimizing the altercation by calling it a "scuffle." That's almost as good verbally as what news magazines have done running photos of a 13 year old Trayvon on their covers.

Looks like Zimmerman and his supporters have some explaining to do. After analysis of the voice recordings it is Martin who is screaming for help not Zimmerman.
Why is that? What was Zimmerman doing to the Martin kid that caused him to scream for help?
Trayvon Martin case 911 call: Screams not George Zimmerman's, 2 experts say
Updated at 2 p.m. ET: The voice heard crying for help on a 911 call just before Trayvon Martin was shot to death was not that of George Zimmerman, according to two forensic voice identification experts, one of whom told MSNBC on Sunday that he believes the evidence is strong enough to use in court.
Clearly Zimmerman is lying about events that happened on the night of the shooting.

Zimmerman was not authorized to confront ANYONE. Carrying the gun made him feel like he was a policeman.
Again, there is no evidence that Zimmerman confronted Martin. As to your other observation, it sounds like attempted mind-reading.
And what was that abnormal situation? Zimmerman observed and reported NO CRIME. He did not report Martin breaking into a car. Ne did not report Martin peeking into windows. The "abnormal situation" was in Zimmerman's own mind
One need not be doing anything illegal in order to legitimately appear suspicious. Here is what Zimmerman saw and reported:
"Hey we've had some break-ins in my neighborhood, and there's a real suspicious guy, uh, [near] Retreat View Circle, um, the best address I can give you is 111 Retreat View Circle. This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about."
He answers the operator's questions seeking a description, then continues: "He's here now and hes just staring
looking at all the houses. Now he's just staring at me."
A person acting strangely, loitering in the rain and "looking at all the houses."
Yes he shot Martin because Zimmerman was losing the fight that he most likely started with his actions of trying to play wanna-be cop.
You are again mind-reading, and again introducing your own assumptions, not the actual known facts. There is nothing wrong with speculating - we're just internet forum commenters - but to say it is "most likely" despite the absence of any known facts is silly.
At no time is there any evidence that Zimmerman was attacked with anything except fists. Yet he decided to respond to fists with a gun. That is over the line
Not legally.
In the police tape showing Zimmerman immediately AFTER the fight there is NO indication of a "broken nose" as Zimmerman claims. There are no dressings on Zimmerman's face or even on the back of his head.
Read this: His neighbor saw him the next day, swollen, bruised and bandaged.

I’ve seen that. The results were inconclusive, according to published standards. Aside from that, there was, of course, an eyewitness who both saw and heard Zimmerman screaming, and said so publicly before any of the publicity surrounding this case. I’m not sure how examination of the recording trumps that.

IMO, from the evidence posted so far there is no clear fault on Zimmerman except learning an armed neighborhood watch person should perhaps not pursue. Its more important an innocent man stay free, than let the guilty go free. The Lord is our final judgment.

If Zimmerman's account of events is true then why did the investigating homicide detective recommend filing manslaughter charges against Zimmerman? Please explain that. I spent 20 years as a police officer. There are many times I prepared charging documents and an entire case file, but when I appeared before the prosecutor I recommended that charges not be filed. Almost always, the prosecutor would review the file, agree, and honor my request.
The mere existence of documents presented to the prosecutor in support of a manslaughter charge is meaningless.
Unless ABC News is prepared to quote Serino as saying "I really thought he should be charged with manslaughter", this report means nothing.
