Good point. Also, if Trayvon was more or less “exiled” to Sanford, so he couldn’t have fun during his suspension, why would his father allow him to go to the movies with his 20 year old cousin the night before and assume he was at the movies again, on the night of the incident? Has being “grounded” or “on punishment” changed THAT much since I was a teenager?
Trayvon’s father has lied before, first accurately telling the police the cries for help on the 911 tapes were NOT Trayvon and later (after meeting Rev. Al) telling the media and the lynch mob that it was “my son screaming for his life”.

The fathr smells money. Didn’t he just quit his job so he could get a cut of the profits from the Trayvon merchandise?

I agree. My thinking is, if this kid was there for a week and a half, why did the dad have to go out with this girlfriend all night in the first place? He should have done some father-son bonding every day. He should have stayed home, ordered pizza, watched the game with his son, who needed direction and purpose in his life. The old man didn’t know where the kid was and that was apparently okay? He just assumes he knows, which was wrong. He didn’t say anything about the kid leaving a note? These people are on their cell phones 24/7 and he didn’t think it was odd the kid didn’t call him to let him know his whereabouts? And lastly, this guy is shacking up with his honey? This was just wrong on so many levels.
