I am glad that Santorum kept his principles and didn’t lower himself with talking to Romney. That is about as low as you can go. I will NOT vote for Romney in the General. I would vote for Rick or Newt though.

I’m a Newt supporter, not Romney, but your statement is kinda silly. If Santorum does become President will he refuse to talk with our political enemies like the Castros, Chavez, Putin, Ahmadinejad, Korea’s Kim........??? If RINO-Rom does get the nomination, I hope Rick will “lower himself” to talk to Romney when he calls to offer him a prime time speaking slot at the Convention in Tampa. Rick deserves that honor. Like I say, your remark is pure silliness; not to mention immature.

I think A Santorum/Gingrich ticket would be ideal and I can’t stand Gingrich on a personal level.

Gingrich has the temperament to wield the whip over congress while Santorum has the diplomatic demeanor.

Romney and Santorum have been de facto partners for months against the more conservative Gingrich. This is very similar to the McCain-Huckabee alliance in 2008 against the more conservative Fred Thompson.

Actually, I think all three of them (Romney, Gingrich and Santorum) met together, according to a report I read last week, since the meeting actually happened before the LA primary. The meeting seemed to be aimed at getting Gingrich to drop out, and he refused.

“I will NOT vote for Romney in the General.”

I won’t vote for watching Dems whistle past the debt graveyard with counter productive high tax policies and more fiscal stimulus, looking for a way to pin the inevitable Greek-style financial crisis on Republicans instead of preventing it. All they care about is power and would rather be kings of chaos than not have it.

We may not have won this battle for the nomination, but gave them a good run for their money and we haven’t been silenced. There will be plenty of opportunities to get the upper hand in the future with congressional elections and on various issues. Romney is a difficult pill to swallow but it beats staying on the path to national destitution and accompanied social disaster like our Greek friends now have. The GOP must win this one because we do not have much time to fix the problem and avoid the certain government debt crisis that will make the last three years look like some of our better days.

You can stay home if you want, but you really should realize what it means.
