Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., endorsed Mitt Romney for president Wednesday night on Fox News' "Hannity," saying Romney offers "a very clear alternative" to President Obama's vision for the future of the country.
Rubio, a young, first-termer who has been discussed as a possible vice presidential candidate, criticized talk of a fight for the Republican nomination on the convention floor, a possibility that is keeping alive the campaigns of Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich.
"I think that's a recipe for delivering four more years of Barack Obama," Rubio told Fox News' Sean Hannity.
Romney has "earned this nomination," Rubio said, though he again shot down questions about whether he would accept any offers of a spot on the ticket.

Since the Supreme Court is going to strike down Obama Care, Romney Care might not be an issue. It looks like Romney is the guy and I am trying to see a bright spot (it is hard).
I'm not!
No Romney...ever!
Rick Santorum’s main line of attack has been that Romney is the worst choice to run against Obama because Romney Care became Obama Care. But if Obama Care is shot down, this will no longer be a big issue to the voters.
One reason why I never liked Rubio, he was the pragmatic conservative choice in FL against the RINO Crist though,
is that I always knew he’d be an establishment RINO just less openly rino (than Crist).
I don’t want him as V.P. and never bought into the whole conservative fauning over him.
Now I know that he’s shown his true colors (half the GOP Primary electorat hasn’t even had their say in this election yet-myself included Indiana votes May 8th) And yet this should end?
It really goes to show what the D.C. establishment crowd thinks of our individual votes!
-Stuff it, Rubio!
He didn’t earn the nomination. He earned enough money to buy it.
I`m amazed at how many prominent people will connect themselves to a candidate because of perceived “electability,” when that candidate in reality has absolutely no chance of being elected.
Ah, well...
Earned it? You mean BOUGHT it.
GAG.
Rubio’s VP nomination has now been bought and paid for.
obumber care is not dead. No one knows how the USSC is going to rule and what will be carved out. I’ve said in the past that romney is a better candidate then santorum because santorum is weak and easily manipulated. But there is no reason to give it to romney now. I say let’s go to the convention, repubs may still wise-up and see that Newt is the best candidate. Or maybe we will get someone even better out of the convention. It would be hard to do worse then santorum or romney, short of obumber.
Guy for what? The MSM is spinning as hard as they can that the economy is peachy now. The only thing Milt had to sell himself on was that he could fix it. What else does this stiff bring to the table beyond that?
The supremes wont vote till june.
A lot could happen between now and them.
Stay vigilant!
Rubio would be the smartest choice to get the hispanic vote, Santorum cant win against Obama as he put too much emphasis on his religios views. Lets face it, A vote for romney is a better vote than one for Obama
Romney hasn’t earned a thing from me except ridicule.
So, Rubio goes to VP, and then Crist comes back out of the woodwork, wins a special election, and goes on to pollute our coming majority in the Senate?
Romney has earned something from me as well: disdain
What are you talking about? I just said that just becuase Crist is an ultra-RINO doesn’t mean that Rubio isn’t also an establishment Republican RINO.
