<<Every word of that bill was written with the Constitution right next to it. After we passed it we read both of them. We had no idea some of the things that were in that Constitution.<<
I was in DC recently and just for the heck of it went on a tour (I have had some work to do there for a few months). When I saw the FDR memorial I wanted to throw up. He invented all kinds of “freedoms” and “rights” that the USC never had, were never envisioned by the framers and, if they were uttered by someone in a 3rd world country we would say were pure socialism bordering on communism.
I hope he is burning in hellfires for what he did to our country.
Then I saw the MLK memorial and did throw up (well in my mouth a little).

Nothing as far as I know?
Although if you ask me service men should be put on a private plan of their choosing.
New service men should not be given the option and instead the military should simply agree to compensate them for any and all medical & otherwise expenses related to their service, and make up the difference by paying the more in the first place.
We need to get away from the job benefit model not only in the military but in the private sector as well. All this model does is screw people when their company invariably goes under while denying them the right to do with their money what they please. The side effect of many of theses socialized models is ultimately nothing more than to effect a tragity of the commons in terms of the market.
You quite latterly get nether security, nor freedom with 3rd party management. Our military personnel least of all should be made subject to this. So as much as is possible they should be payed upfront.
