CLINTONVILLE - The booming and shaking continues in Clintonville.
Clintonville police say they received about 65 calls Tuesday night, from people reporting three or four loud booms. Officials say the calls came in from 10:35 until 11:40 p.m.
Authorities say the reports came from the same part of the city that has been experiencing the booms for more than a week, but there were also some reports farther west, including Clinton Avenue. Several callers told police that these booms were stronger than those from last week, but no damage has been reported.
City officials have been in contact with the U.S. Geological Survey about the latest booms. City Administrator Lisa Kuss says she called them last night when the booms were reported, she says she plans to touch base with them again Wednesday morning.

How far is this from Madison?
Leviticus 18:27-29: If you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you. ou're hearing the earth vomit the evil from the land.
Dunno... Hopefully close enough to get the full Pompeii experience.
That is strange. The sounds were recorded, right? Thanks for sharing.
Nope - we just heard them. Didn't have any recording devices handy.
"Boom. Why does my heart go boom?"
:)
I’d bet your large bang was from the fault moving. A couple of years ago, we were awakened by shaking followed by a large boom. It was a 5.1 earthquake with the epicenter about three miles away. All our neighbors had the same experience.
I would hope that Governor Walker be out of town if such an event were to occur...we need all the good men we can get. :-)
Maybe we could have him and Dayton sub for each other... Only the Union mobsters in MN would miss Dayton.
Supposed recording seismically of the booms.

“Malia, your mother has fallen out her chair again. Would you help her?”
“Nothing to worry about? Sheesh!”
Exactly right. I never got used to them, or did not NOT “worry,” primarily because once it starts, you are poised, waiting, because you do not know how long it is going to last, or how intense it is going to be. I was in San Diego when the Northridge quake hit, and it literally rolled me out of bed. Which was okay, because I was getting up to go skiing anyway! LOL (it was probably stupid to go skiing, I admit)
Here is a recording of the booms.

Does that link have an audio recording on it that I am missing?
It is either earthquake activity or Democrats.
One is worse than the other.

Sorry...!
Thanks!
