I am glad the legislator is showing solidarity with the hoodlum who was bashing in the head of the naighborhood wach captain, rather then the law abiding citizen
There are Black children being killed in New Orleans every day by Blacks, where is the outrage? A two year old girl was just shot to death, where is the outrage? I thought this was America where you were innocent until proven guilty.
“Just because someone wears a hoodie does not make them a hoodlum.”
It does when it is breaking the rules.
Hate to burst the liberals’ and racist’s bubble, but they are being played by a disingenuous media that has created a non-controversy.
At the risk of being flamed or banned, based on the facts I have been able to discover about this story, Zimmerman acted in self-defense and Trayvon was the aggressor who ended up getting what he deserved. Sorry to speak ill of the dead and I’m sorry that Trayvon got killed but, the evidence all supports Zimmerman’s side of the story.
IMO, it is inappropriate for elected representatives in the Congress to get sucked into these media-generated messes.
Yes, it’s posted elsewhere on here.
Neither you nor anyone else knows that to be certain. The fat lady will sing in June and we can cross these bridges then, if need be.
For now, however, we are in what we called in the Navy, "standby to standby" mode.
What’s his point? Does he want to make it a “thought crime” to be suspecious of kids who dress like thugs? Is he a lobbyist for hoodie makers? Or maybe he is just an idiot?
Wouldn’t do for me to be a congressman. I’d be censured daily and probably jailed for knocking the crap out of little snots like Weiner and Kennedy. I’m sure there are some who took their place.
I’d also get in trouble for wearing a “Zimmerman - NOT GUILTY!” t-shirt.
We definitely need some white “leaders” standing up to these racists attacks.
Why should you fear being banned when we have FReepers who are making inflammatory and scandalous $hit up out of whole cloth?
A FReeper posted as "fact" that the Sanford PD officers and Zimmerman were "laughing and smoking" after the shoot and refuses to either provide a source link or to retract the statement.
An out and out, deliberate lie, yet he's still posting.
I don't think you have anything to worry about.
The answer to all your questions is yes he does and is. And that is just for starters
A hoodie is a part of a cultural profile, you racist idiot.
The black race baiters on the Hill have got to get their ineffectual licks in before Mr. Zimmerman is arrested. Taken before a grand jury and maybe, charged with discharging a firearm in a residential area.
What we need is a “Congressman Zimmerman”.
so the black caucus is wanting Zimmermann arrested, er why, we have our laws here in FL and Zimmermann stood his ground when getting beaten, maybe they need to understand our laws first.
Now wearing a hoodie on the house floor, for crying out loud this is congress, an elected official not some play ground where street rules go, .
What an immature thing to do, next we’;ll have another black rep trying to outdo this child.
Lets do this, we;ll jump on one of them, beat them to a pulp, if we get shot and die then we’;ll get white hate groups coming in and demanding that the black guy be arressted , also kidnapped and given street justice.
Well have a white racist in the DOJ and lets see how they like it.
Now black caucus how many blacks died in the last week by blacks or how many whites died from blacks?
I am glad the legislator is showing solidarity with the hoodlum who was bashing in the head of the neighborhood wach captain, rather then the law abiding citizen
It is not gang violence that kills so many Black young folks. It is the breakdown of the Black family unit, ensuing drug use, out of wedlock births, multiple abortions, poor education caused by greedy/thug teacher unions and poor community leadership, greedy & power hungry failed Black Leadership, from Obama on down, and worst of all.....the total failure to the Black community to properly identify the problem, which by the way, is not racism, but a failure of Black society to effectively assimilate into the diverse American society. A look in the mirror and some blunt truthful acceptance of reality, would be a true first step into addressing the problem.
Failure to do that, and continuing support of current Black leaders like Obama, etc. will continue to support life on The Obama Plantation of economic slavery and endless poverty and despair fro masses of American Blacks. Yes, the truth hurts, but....the truth is the truth!!! Actually, when one objectively studies this situation, it is only the Blacks that have not successfully woven themselves into the general American society. Hispanics, Orientals, Indians, Arabs, Jews, Whites have all done just fine when compared against Blacks.
Bobby Rush is a race-baiting embarassment to the state of Illinois, far more so than idiot Blago ever was.
“He shames his office.”
Shame is largely responsible for ensuring social decency, at least as it was formerly known. To suffer shame requires common values and a sense of communal belonging.
And therein lies the essence of our Dem overlords: they are shameless; they cannot be shamed. Their allies in the press condone and reinforce the shamelessness. Think of the daily affronts to decency recounted here at FR....
Equally important: liberals use shame against conservatives (or anyone with traditional values) because it works. Look at what it has done to the field of possible conservative candidates. Who’d want to run when the media playing field is so overwhelmingly directed at shaming conservatives?!
