I am no Romney fan and won’t vote for him in the primaries. But I am not going to go that far. THERE *ARE* differences between Obama and Romney and the differences are apparent enough not to sit this one out and allow Obama a second term.

Wow, agreed! I think it’s bizarre and “cut off your nose to spite your face” to declare that you won’t vote for the R candidate (or, the ABO candidate) if it’s Romney. I think he’s horrible but compared to 0, is infinitely more preferable.

I agree with your sentiment about not being a Romney fan, but I also want to add another thought about Romney that I haven't seen on FR yet. If we elect Romney, and he does not govern far enough to the right, at least when the Tea Party raises their voices in protest they can't be called racist. Romney will have to listen to his conservative base because, unlike Obama, he has nothing but himself to hide behind.
