A friend of George Zimmerman, the man who shot unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., told ABC News today that the voice heard howling on the tape of a 911 call was Zimmerman's, not the teen's.
The man, a black friend of the family who spoke to Zimmerman tonight, told ABC News that Zimmerman was weeping for days after the shooting, which sparked protests across the country, and he insisted that Zimmerman, who is Hispanic, is not a racist.
"We wanted to come forward because allegations of racism just aren't true. His friends speak highly of him," said attorney Greg Sonner, who has been representing Zimmerman for two weeks.
Zimmerman's friend said that the howls heard on the 911 call, which helped galvanize the nation against Zimmerman, in fact belonged to Zimmerman, not Martin...

The facts no longer matter in this case. obumber and santorum have already passed judgement.
If the fact that the shooter was Hispanic sticks will this fact create a rift in the coalition of blacks and Hispanics? Can the shooting be made to backfire against a White House busy fanning the flame?
I briefly liked Santorum but got over it. After reading his comment about this case, I know I made the right decision.
He is as bad as Obama, jumping on the bandwagon without knowing what the heck he was talking about. We already have one of those in the WH, don’t need another one.

This may be silly question but how come the Hispanic community in Fla is so silent on this story? I mean normally one would wait for ALL the facts before coming out with opinions but giving that so many different people are voicing theirs, I have not noticed anything from Hispanic groups.....
This is not Obama’s grandfather’s U.S.A.
U.S. citizens could, and do, have cousins, wives, husbands, in-laws of different races. People don’t always get along regardless of race.
I go to church with all sorts of diverse ethnic backgrounds and races—from Syrian, to Japanese, to black, to Hispanic, to Taiwanese, to white. We are FAMILY...and we are mutts. Families have trouble, even those in the same family end up having tragic accidents.
So Obama thinks Trayvon looks like his son? So what? He looks like MY cousin. Jorge/George looks like my friends. The division needs to end with current occupant of the Oval Office.

So we are left with 1) The Obamunist, 2) the Romneymunist, and 3) the Satorumunist. So those of you (and from the polls, there must be a bunch of you) who like Santorum, how is he going to be any different than the other two? Not that it matters because the election is going to be between the first two!
