“..a little old for a transplant?..
under Obamacare this would not be allowed”
So sad yet so true!
May God grant Cheney many more wonderful years here with us.
Under deathcare seniors will be denied care and your “betters” in government will decide who is worthy of treatment
VP Cheney had been on a waiting list for almost 2 years. According to a cardiac physician on F&F - there are only 2300 heart transplants performed each year in the US.
Thought it would be higher than that.
Prayers for the Cheney family - true patriots.
Prayers for his quick and full recovery.
Dare I say this annotated image could be accurately titled,
"Why leftists so viscerally hate Dick Cheney."
My office is full of leftists. I think I'll print your edited image and post it on my cubicle wall just to remind them how little true tolerance they have.
Godspeed Dick Cheney.
Go Cheney!! That pic says it all - honest body language and facial expressions from a real man!!
Go Cheney!! That pic says it all - honest body language and facial expressions from a real man!!
Sorry for the double post
Maybe now that he’s had a change of heart he’ll run for office?
So evil yes ( s/ off ) they are so evil because of Sarbanes Oxley they moved their Corp HQ to Dubai. Never-mind Elections have consequences, legislation has consequences.
Our Financial Regualtory Environment needs a complete soup to nuts redue-simplificatiom starting with the repeal of Sarb-Ox, Dodd-Frank ans reinstating Glass Segal. Their is more but I am so far off Topic.
Back on Topic, Prayers up for Mr. V.P. and his family. In my gut why do I feel he will be up and out of the Hospital before he should!
He may not want to be back in the arena, but Cheney / Palin 2012 is sounding really good to me right about now....
Thanks. The context makes all the difference.
See post #146.
Aww (((((HUG HUG))))))
Prayers up for the courageous statement who helped steer the US through a difficult time.
And who may yet do so again!
My husband and other transplants on the floor were walking the hallways of our hospital on the sixth day after transplant. Released from the hospital on the tenth day. If all is well for the VP, today they will begin removing vent, and lines, will be responding verbally by the end of the day. We will be hearing from VP Cheney very soon.
May God bless this true patriot! May he have a speedy recovery.
Cheney seems too old, that was my first thought too. However, I realized and remembered he's been on a different, experimental track.
In order to advance the state-of-the-art they need candidates with detailed history willing to take risks. Given the nature of his work history, few would have the quality care level he had. When Cheney moved to the heart pump that eliminated his pulse, it was always understood in the context of seeing if it's a good stop-gap towards transplant. He happened to be a good test subject.
Best wishes to the Cheney's.
Cheney/Rumsfeld 2012
And doesn’t take his hat off for him.
