More and more French Jews are buying homes in Israel amid fears of rising anti-Semitism in France. Many complain of being harrassed in public and feel the country is no longer a safe place to raise their children. In the wake of the Toulouse attacks, the wave of emigration is only likely to increase.
Many must have been reminded of the treatment of Jews under the Third Reich. Shortly after the attack on a Jewish school in the southern French city of Toulouse on Monday, school principals in the city walked into classrooms and asked the Jewish pupils to come forward. "We ask you to leave the class and join the other Jewish children, who are in a locked and safe location." ...

No. It was one of the choices for the Final Solution. But this was because by putting them on an island, they could use them as they wished. It was too expensive for the Third Reich to shipped them all by boat. So the Final Solution was adopted. Hope he didn't write this in jest? n/s
Another plan was to encourage Jewish emigration to Palestine, and then let the Arabs do their dirty work for them.
Figures der Spiegel would see it this way. Actually they are reminded of the treatment of Jews under Vichy France. If they have any brains that is.
In northwestern Europe, France included, it is a combination of Neo-Nazi, Moslem-Arab (North Africans in particular in France), and the Leftist grps who are antisemitic. Anyways, Europeans have mostly not been friendly to Jews. That includes the Russians.
From what I have been hearing here and there and several countries are chiming in, including the US as well as Israel that intelligence reports are, that Iran is no longer pushing or pursuing the making of highly enriched uranium suitable for making a nuclear bomb or the delivery of same and supposedly they are still years away from completing what they set out to do, what I believe is a bunch of BS.
The story seems a little fishy as I do believe they are still going full bore and are not slacking off a bit. The only thing I can see is a deceptive move to lull Iran in to complacency before all hell breaks loose and TSHTF.
Well this is just my take and I hope that I am wrong
No big surprises. Much of Talmudic commentary and thought was developed in France, and then there were the things the Crusaders would do to the Jews of France and Germany on their (the Crusaders’) way to the Holy Land. Much of Halachic codifying and sytematization was developed under Islamic rule, and then there were the things the Arabs would do to us whenever they were either bored or frustrated.
Thanks forty_years.
No it wasn’t, that was an idea floated by the Reich in the 1930s. Convenient, since the Reich had no control over Madagascar, the Brits did, and they wouldn’t let Jews into Palestine, much less Madagascar. Then there’s the question of what possible business it is of the US to relocate Jews out of Europe to Africa.

I always point this out as a French-speaking Jewish guy.
My grandfather was a doctor in France in the 1930s. He had been in the French Army in WWI, and was highly decorated, both in combat and in medicine.
He was from a line of doctors in a small town, and between my grandfather and great-grandfather, they had delivered most of the children of the town.
He was a strong French Patriot; his family having roots in that town for hundreds of years.
They had secular family members that had married into many of the non-Jewish families.
All that to say, a very short time after the German “invasion,” the local police attempted to arrest my grandfather and grandmother, resulting in a nasty fight that left two police dead and my grandfather “on the lamb.”
He actually had a warrant for murder until the 1970s, when it was finally cleared up.
