In Defense of George Zimmerman (vanity)
Posted on 03/24/2012 9:55:26 AM PDT by TigerClaws
Since there's been a public rush to judgment and many key facts are being ignored by the MSM Ill defend Zimmerman.
1. He was walking in a public place. Nothing illegal about walking behind someone.
2. He had a legal right to his gun.
3. There were robberies in his neighborhood. Someone who didnt live there (trespass?) was walking through.
4. He called 911 but without telling the cops where to go when they arrived theres no suspect if it turns out a robbery took place.
5. He lost sight of TM and headed back to his SUV.
6. TM confronted him and started hitting him.
7. TM broke his nose.
8. Zimmerman asked a witness for help and to call 911.
http://www.myfoxtampabay.com/dpp/news/state/witness-martin-attacked-zimmerman-03232012
9. Zimmerman fired his gun in self defense due to threat of immediate bodily harm.
Okay?
Whats your case to prosecute him or even arrest Zimmerman?
Zimmerman can sue you personally for malicious prosecution so your career and wealth are 100% on the line making this decision.

this gun toting fool ZimmermanAfter that, anything else you posted is worthless.

When you look into the background of this Zimmerman you see he was a ticking timebomb just waiting to go off:
To wit:
At the very least, a series of 46 emergency calls made by Zimmerman over the past six years document a man vigilant about keeping his neighborhood safe and orderly. The calls include complaints about unruly people at the pool, potholes, dumped trash, and kids playing in the street. In recent months, as the neighborhood saw an uptick in crime, including burglaries and a shooting, Zimmerman's calls had focused on specific suspects, the majority of them young black men.
"The newly released police calls paint Zimmerman as a man obsessed with law and order, with the minutiae of suburban life, and with black males, writes Mother Jones' Adam Weinstein."
Source: The Christian Science Monitor, March 24, 2012
I conclude that Zimmerman had a beef with Black people and was a busy body with a gun. Now he has blood on his hands.

"He was told not to pursue the guy but to wait for the cops."A dispatcher saying that "we don't need you to do that" is not a lawful order. Zimmerman was under no restriction to continue following the suspicious man in his neighborhood.

Wow, a quote from Mother Jones, I’m impressed.
Yesterday, on the radio, they said it was 46 calls over 10 years. I guess we shall just have to wait and see. Seems some people don’t want to wait, they want to convict.

as for your braying First off, seems like your an asshole.
Aw seems like I touched a nerve with you didn't I
Second, seems like you have already convicted Zimmerman and are just making up facts to support your preconceived opinion. Are you going to riot and get you a new big screen TV when Zimmerman is found innocent or not charged?
And it seems like you are bending over backwards to present this shooter Zimmerman and being as pure as the newly driven snow. But what do you really know about Zimmerman? Doing a little digging I found this. Maybe you should do a little digging too? Ya think?
"...In 2005, when he was 21, he was charged with assault on a police officer during an altercation over the arrest of one of his friends for underage drinking in a bar, but he chose a common route for first-time offenders: A pre-trial diversion that allowed him to escape a felony conviction...."
And then I found this:...."Also in 2005, his then-fiancée accused Zimmerman of domestic violence when she filed a court injunction against him. He responded with an injunction of his own. Their court battled ended when the injunctions expired in 2006.

Looks like your boy Zimmerman has a temper. And a temper with a gun can lead to deadly results.

Can’t say, as these were located by other posters. To me they could likely be the thug.
What I can say is the picture of the young, innocent, hardly-would-hurt-a-fly-pure-as-snow picture the family released is YEARS old and does not reflect reality.
Why hasn’t the family released other photos, you know, recent ones?
Why?
Hiding the fact he is a thug, a thug that was kicked out of school.

“what authority Zimmerman had to accost a person who was just walking down the street and creating a confrontation that resulted in the death of an innocent person?”
Again with the inflammatory language. You can question someone without “accosting” them. In this case it doesn’t matter because there is no evidence Zimmerman “accosted” Martin or even spoke to him. Or do you have some the rest of us have missed? No? Didn’t think so.

It’s true about the family and the wholesome baby-faced smiling picture. The football uniform picture is somewhat similar. But some of the pictures you linked to were ID’d as a different TM. That isn’t to say that has been proven, but that you should caveat your postings accordingly.

The quote was in the context of the Christian Science Monitor. Go there and see the full story.
And regarding "convicting" Zimmerman, it seems he didn't have any problem acting as judge-jury-and EXECUTIONER for an unarmed person walking down the street
Remember: There are two sides to every story and the second side to this story will never be told since the vic is lying dead on a slab in the morgue.
Zimmerman has a shaky past that is just now starting to come out. He has a temper and when combined with a firearm is not a good combination

Zimmerman did not have any identifying clothing like the Guardian angels watch group.
He wasn’t minding his own business. He was acting like a creeper or local pervert. The guys that drive around slowly in vans and kidnap kids. 100% creeper!
Many people should file charges against anyone acting like Zimmerman in their neighborhood for siccing the cops on them when no crime is commited. stop abusing the 911 system as well. black men should start getting out their cellphone cameras for harassment lawsuits! That would put some of these people in their place and stop them from harassing people in the neighborhood.
To: TigerClaws
Reading your post it sounds like you are making a threat to
anyone that does not see things as you do.
Watching TV I have heard the cell phone calls from Zimmerman. Did not sound like he felt threatened. Sounds
more like he is a bully.
He may get away with killing this young boy. But it is a
fearful thing to stand before the Living God, which he will do someday.

“this gun toting fool Zimmerman”
Well, I really don’t give a rats rear about your opinion but I didn’t post that. If you really read you’ll see the gist of my posts has been, “We don’t know what happened and need to wait and see what the investigation comes up with before making any decisions or accusations”. I do suspect when all is said and done Zimmerman’s version will be pretty close to what happened.

Is it "inflammatory" to ask under what authority did Zimmerman have in the first place to accost / confront / or otherwise interfere with a person walking down the street?
Would you accept someone walking up to you and challenging your right to be on a public street and then brandishing a weapon when you took offense at being questioning?
For pete's sake lets have a little common sense here, okay?

Why? Why do you guys keep making things up?
Would you accept someone walking up to you and challenging your right to be on a public street and then brandishing a weapon when you took offense at being questioning?
There is absolutely no evidence this is what happened. In fact there is evidence to the contrary.
To: Rooivalk
How do you know Zimmerman confronted or interfered with Martin?
To: Rooivalk
Would you accept someone walking up to you and challenging your right to be on a public street and then brandishing a weapon when you took offense at being questioning?Do you have any documentation that Zimmerman walked up to Martin, challenged his right to be on a public street and then brandished a weapon prior to his ending up on the ground on his back?
For pete's sake lets have a little common sense here, okay?
Common sense usually involves not leaping to conclusions. You should follow your own advice. I'm waiting for more of the facts to come out, and hopefully they will despite all of the background noise around this incident.
