President Obama’s remarks today about the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin drew scowls from GOP presidential contender New Gingrich, who called them “disgraceful” and divisive.
“What the president said in a sense is disgraceful. It’s not a question of who that young man looked like,” Gingrich said on Sean Hannity’s radio show.
President Obama today offered a personal reflection on the tragic shooting the Florida teenager Trayvon Martin, saying the incident requires all Americans to “do some soul searching.”
“When I think about this boy, I think about my own kids,” Obama told reporters....
Gingrich said on the radio show: ”Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe period. We should all be horrified no matter what the ethnic background. Is the president suggesting that if it had been a white who had been shot that would be ok because it didn’t look like him?”
He went added that it’s “just nonsense dividing this country up. It is a tragedy this young man was shot. It would have been a tragedy if he had been Puerto Rican or Cuban or if he had been white or if he had been Asian American of if he’d been a Native American. At some point we ought to talk about being Americans. When things go wrong to an American. It is sad for all Americans.”
Gingrich, a former speaker of the House of Representatives, said: “Trying to turn it into a racial issue is fundamentally wrong. I really find it appalling.”

Well some people are simply waiting for a reason...Shapton, Farrachan and Jesse give it to them...then they blame them.
I do think though that there are many in the black community who wish these guys would just button it. I Have a couple black friends and they get disgusted with the nonesense these guys hand out.......
He jumped into the middle of this the way that he jumped into the think against Limbaugh. Unseemly. Pitching to his base.
Me too....but I blame the media for pimping it to the public. They want the Drama for the ratings....well known if the media can't find a good story to keep the public coming back for more..then they'll create one....and this along with the Obama/Democrates machine dictating the time and agenda of how to use it.

I know he didn’t call 911, which really doesn’t matter...the fact is while speaking to those who know him at the police, and I heard the recording, they told him he didn’t have to follow the guy and he said ok and stopped.
It goes on further with where they could pick him up once within the gated community and directions where he would be, phone number etc....he then mentioned to them to call him once they had arrived...assumingly to guide them to where he was...and they agreed.
Although it's been stated he hates being in the whitehouse, as does Michele, and they love being out in front of the crowds doing their thing. It would go with the same sort of thing Hollywood stars contend with...they have a need to be in front of their fans and hearing the adulation...otheer wise they go thru withdrawal and a host of other personality issues.
I think they both took the wrong job...but the perks are grand.

My gut feeling is that they are waaaaay over-reacting on this and it’s going to turn around and bite them on the butt.
Of course, Newt, who I support, is joining the bandwagon too by argueing that Zimmerman was in the wrong. Newt needs to zip it too.
If I had a birth certificate it would look like Trayvon’s.

Community Organizer (shit stirrer) strikes again.
A few months ago five cute kids who look like the President beat the living shit out of an old man in Philadelphia.
If I remember correctly he lost the vision in one eye and had multiple bone fractures in his face.
Again, the kids look like the President.
We also had kids who look like the president beat a kid to death who looked like Newt Gingrich, outside Independence hall, in front of the liberty bell.
Seems these kids like Trayvon think they are above the law.
I wonder where they get that from.
Newt is articulate,cogent, and inspiring. While Obama, who was touted as such, it turns out, is not.
Hearing Newt, after 3 year of Odumdum, is refreshing.
To bad we might get the most uninspiring candidate since Dole as our nom.
Especially when we need a fighter.
The world truly is upside down and backwards.
I think it was in Maryland. They beat and kicked the boys face so bad that his mother could not recognize him. His face had to be reconstructed.
I wonder, did our president visit him in the hospital?
Isn’t that the truth? No one, no one, can frame an argument or deconstruct, sift and come up with a clear, concise answer with conviction the way he consistently does.
I don’t know why so many can’t see that.
