Two weeks aga a shady liberal group (they dont even have a website) calling themselves the Women of the 99% made tens of thousands of illegal robocalls across the US attacking Rush Limbaugh and Republican lawmakers in battleground districts.
We now have three recorded videos of the illegal robocalls from districts in Illinois, Wisconsin and California.
Kevin G. sent in the latest video of one of the illegal robocalls from Rep. Dan Lungrens district in California:
The calls were placed in at least 25 Congressional districts in at least 12 different states across the US.
...
The organization Occupy Women of the 99% is not a registered PAC or lobbying group. Therefore, it is illegal for this group to make robocalls. The group is making the calls anonymously which also is illegal. The FCC confirmed that telemarketers are required to provide contact information that can be used to opt out of future calls.
Also, the cost of running a robocall message list this large would be well over $100,000. So who is this group? And, who is funding this group?

I’ve gotten two of ‘em — one last night and another a few days after the Fluke thing started. I never answer calls on the line they come in on, but they leave voicemail messages.
The ones I get target “Rush Limbaugh Republican” Sean Duffy, my rep., and demand I call him to demand he stop Rush and his “anti-women, anti-family politics” and “vicious attacks against women”. They claim that Duffy supports giving employers “the power to deny women access to birth control coverage”.
The funniest part is at the end, when they say “We are the women of the 99%, and we will not be silenced!”, while they try to silence conservatives without telling me who they really are.
I usually follow the same strategy, but once in a while, just for kicks, I'll answer to see who's behind that "unavailable number." I've gotten 2 of these calls so far when I've ventured forth into "unavailable number" territory.

But it seems the post with the pic has been removed?
I wasn’t able to see the picture - but the line about crapping out their heads was priceless. Had to use it on Facebook to get people riled up.
Later...if someone reminds me... I have a website on my laptop that I tripped across on Twitter. They have many many offshoots of *gak* ways to volunteer...all with the intent of getting rid of Rush.
If anyone wants to check in the meantime, it’s #RushLimbaugh or any variations of his name. Dig a little.. You’ll find it.
I was SOOOOOO off...it’s #BoycottRush OR using any variations of his name.
Must have more coffee...
Vicki McKenna was on this story last week. Said how these calls were illegal and if any of her listeners got them to catch the caller ID of the scumbags. Some called into the show and said the caller ID did not work when the illegal calls were received. She thought she knew where the funding for this came from, I think it was an abortion group like NARAL. It was last week when she discussed this, and I can’t recall for sure the lib group’s name.
From what I heard on local talk radio (Vicki McKenna) the calls were illegal because the call did not state whom it was from or who funded it. It’s a violation of campaign law of some kind.
Of course laws and rules only apply to republicans and conservatives, not democrats.
The call I got this afternoon was from the Romney campaign and identified as such. It just made me mad and made me more determined to vote for Santorum April 3. Santorum is supposed to make an appearance at the Americans for Prosperity conferenece tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing him in person.
Hey, glad you can go to the conference! I hear Michelle Malkin will be there. What a great event. Sadly I work everyday this time of year. No way can I go. I also missed the annual WI Carry,Inc member meeting last weekend in Milwaukee.
There is one great event I heard about on WISN this week. This summer Miller Park will host an event honoring the remaining World War II veterans. It is in July or August. The group that does the Honor Flight project is in charge of it. What a great idea. They will fly in veterans from all over the country and honor them in one place large enough to hold their grateful fellow Americans. Small ticket charge, that will be put in the Honor Flight Fund.
I hope to get to that event.
I believe that you find Republican Congressman Richard Hanna is the lead women of the 99%.
Michelle Malkin was there and introduced Ron Johnson, as well as Paul Ryan. I hadn’t intended to stay for the break out sessions, but I did (’cause I wanted to hear Ryan, and he was at the very end) but I’m glad I stayed. They were excellent. The whole day was a plus, plus. Even the lunch was good. I will certainly make an effort to attend the next event that they put on.
I should add that Santorum was terrific, as well, and he had his 14 year old daughter with him who made a brief appearance handing him an Etch A Sketch on stage as a prop. What a pretty girl! I came home with Santorum bumperstickers, rally signs, and pins.
Many thanks for the report on the conference!
That was “the” place to be this weekend.
Michelle Malkin is one of my favorite conservative warriors.
So glad you could be there!
Cheers!
