I have been saying this for the last 6 months.

Romney would be even worse than Obama, because he wouldn’t have the Republicans fighting tooth and nail to stop him.

If we are going down, I would rather a Democrat be at the helm than a RINO like Romney.

Santorum is right.

Romney in the Whitehouse would damage the GOP brand by memorializing it as the GOP-E brand.

Without Newt or Santorum in the WH, conservatives will do better to control the Senate and House with strong TP influence.

I believe the next line was "Kook, Kook, Kachook!"

Perhaps Simon & Garfunkle were prophets (not necessarily those type of prophets who wrote on the subway walls!) I wonder who the Kooks they were talking about were? Kook1 = Ron Paul? Kook2 = Rick Santorum? Kachook = Romney?

"Santorum suggests that re-electing Obama
would be better than a Romney presidency."

(...ummm..OK Rick..help us out here...
..which one of these two quotes
are you gonna "run with" NOW???)

Every republican candidate should start by saying:

"Any one of us would be better then Obama. But, here is why I would be best..."

I wish Santorum had not gone there.

I fear president Obama selecting a couple more Supremes.

Would be tragic!

I'm disappointed that Rick would say that about another Republican. He must be very desperate now.

I don't love Romney either, but at least with a republican congress we have a better shot of getting things turned around than with Obummer.

My Oh MY are the Newt supporters trying to make hey or make something out of nothing by taking Rick's comments out of context to mold and shape it into what they want you to think.

Here is Rick's actual comment : " "You win by giving people a choice. You win by giving people the opportunity to see a different vision for our country, not someone who's just going to be a little different than the person in there," Santorum told supporters in San Antonio. "If you're going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have instead of taking a risk with what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate of the future." ...

Rick is actually saying there is not much difference between Mitt Romney and Obama when you look at their records.
Rick goes on to say that if that's what you want in a candidate, then why vote for Mitt Romney when there is someone else in office as just about the same ?
Rick is saying, vote for someone who is NOT like Obama and Mitt Romney, Rick IS NOT saying to vote for Obama, he is saying look for someone who is not like Obama and Mitt Romney.

Rick should not have gotten on the etch a sketch band-wagon...or if he had to, said it early in the week and then left it alone.

Now by trying to use it to the max, and thus use it up, he has done worse. He has made a gaffe so bad himself that it allows Romney to get out from under what his advisor said and point the attention now to Santorum.

It gave Newt ammo against Santorum as well and it has a lot of people scracthing their heads now focusing thier worry on Santorum.

Foolish mistake on the eve of Lousiana. You can bet this will be the talk of tomorrow.

This is being misinterpreted, especially by the pro-Romney crowd, which is desperately grasping at any straw to erase the Etch-a-Sketch remarks.

Romney is too much like Obama — that Mitt is a RINO whose record looks like that of Obama and thus, you can choose either one and get essentially the same thing.

You might remember that Mittens voted for Tsongas.

Romney has said that he is for a national health mandate (Obamacare), even though he is denying that right now. You can find him saying that he is for a mandate on a NATIONAL level, on Youtube.

*Romney ran as a PRO-CHOICE candidate for Governor

*Romney supported Cap and Trade

*Romney supports a national healthcare mandate and is the creator of Romneycare (the blueprint for Obamacare)

*Romney helped give Massachusetts gay marriage

*Romney believes in man-made global warming

*Romney was for the bail outs
