My Oh MY are the Newt supporters trying to make hey or make something out of nothing by taking Rick's comments out of context to mold and shape it into what they want you to think.

Here is Rick's actual comment : " "You win by giving people a choice. "If you're going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have instead of taking a risk with what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate of the future." ...

Rick is actually saying there is not much difference between Mitt Romney and Obama when you look at their records.
Rick goes on to say that if that's what you want in a candidate, then why vote for Mitt Romney when there is someone else in office as just about the same ?
Rick is saying, vote for someone who is NOT like Obama and Mitt Romney, Rick IS NOT saying to vote for Obama, he is saying look for someone who is not like Obama and Mitt Romney.

Nobody is taking Rick out of context. If they were, the Santorum campaign would not be having to reverse themselves on it. Here is Rick’s actual comment:

“If you’re going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have (Obama) instead of taking a risk with what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate (Romney) of the future.”

What Rick actually said is why THE SANTORUM CAMP TOOK IT BACK as the article says:

“The Santorum camp later clarified the candidate’s remark, saying he didn’t mean to insinuate that voters would be better off re-electing Obama than choosing Romney.”

Do we need to have it 'etched' for us; what he means? Don't think so. . .All of which he said; is the 'wrong' thing to say; period. and IMHO. . .
