I don’t know, but it may have to do with FBI racial classification practices. If a Hispanic commits a hate crime, the perp is classified as “white.” If a Hispanic is the victim of a hate crime, the victim is classifed as “Hispanic.”

Liberals were having a problem with the fact that there is rarely a white on black/hispanic hate crime. So they played around with the FBI statistics to tweak “white” hate crimes. This is why black on white hate crimes are rarely described and prosecuted as such.

Really? I’m a white hispanic. Spanish is a language duh. Unless you are part indian or black and speak spanish you are a white hispanic. Hispanics try to get minority status because of the language they speak and it’s bogus.
