Might as well.
The City has pretty much already gone to pot...

Wow they finally found something that will put the narcotics trafficers out of business. Unions!
Soooo look for, the Union label...
when you are buying your joint, lid, or pound
Remember somewhere, Union dope is growing
so you'll be smoking so we can lounge around.
You know we hardly work, but we're still complaining
So always look for, the Union label, it says we deal for the U.S. of A."

This will be the next union topic Ed Schultz with BSNBC will be campaigning for, while they give him money and ‘special brownies’ under the table.

Look for
The Union Label
When you are buying
Your joint, bag, or bong
While you are smoking
Our thugs ain’t joking
With those employees
Who won’t go along
(we’ll bust their b-—s)
No we don’t work hard
And we’re complaining
We just like paining
And whining all day long
So always look for
The Union Label
And that’s the end of this song.

Well there goes the MM industry. Higher prices and less service.

List of union demands said to include:
Twinkies
bongos
silly putty
hacky sacks
and a yearly $60 Birkenstock reimbursement allotment

There will soon be a shortage of medical marijuana in Los Angeles. Doubtful - there are no LA-only shortages of other medicines despite pharmacists being unionized.

Yep. And then give the government a monopoly on growing and manufacture of drugs. There will be none left in the US within a couple years.

This doesn't seem within the spirit of medicinal marijuana, somehow.
Anyway, this story will generate a lot of buzz. Can't wait for the smoke to clear.

I think you may be thinking of medicinal marijuana as a hippie-groovy kind of thing (and unionization as not). I reckon there are probably proportionately more hippies in the pro-medicinal-marijuana ranks than in, say, the pro-FDA-approval-for-the-latest-heart-medicine ranks. But primarily, medicinal marijuana is just that - medicine, with proven medicinal uses.

Never for something illegal or semi-legal or okay till the court ruling comes out.....
