The deadly shooting of an unarmed teenager by a neighborhood watch captain is sparking outrage in New York and across the country, and now, the Occupy Wall Street Movement is getting involved.
Trayvon Martin's family meets with the justice department Thursday to demand answers about the way their son's shooting was handled by local police in Florida. But on Wednesday night, hundreds rallied in Union Square Park as Martin's parents spoke to the crowd.
"My son did not deserve to die," Tracy Martin said after thanking those who participated in a march in the teenager's memory.
Demonstrators chanting "we want arrests" converged on for what was dubbed the Million Hoodie March.
Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin's mother, told the crowd: "My heart is in pain, but to see the support of all of you really makes a difference."

After the formal demonstration ended, the protest buoyed in part by the Occupy Wall Street supporters angry over recent clashes with the NYPD evolved into a general anti-police rally.
“the Million Hoodie March”
I’m not so sure that’s a good title
all to form one big confusing demonstration filled with people who SHOULD be at work.
I’m still waiting for the march for the white kid who was set on fire.
Waiting...
Waiting...
Waiting...
And the elite press with give them wonderful coverage. These New York Times journalists talk about ways to help Occupy in the video...

Has Obama made his ‘police acted stupidly’ remarks yet?
Yes the kid who was set on fire is a horrible crime. Yes the kid who was killed by the “neighborhood watch” is a horrible crime. Probably the difference is that most Americans don’t do public demonstrations, but the black community does.
No because he hispanic
You might want to read this thread (major distortion alert):
“Zimmerman was on the ground being punched when he shot Trayvon Martin(FL)”

I’m sure the powers to be are out there vetting the shooter to see if he is a Gun Totting Conservative. They are out there trying to make this an election issue, anything to get the attention away from the economy will do.
The man appears Hispanic, althiugh he likely had a German or Jewish ancestor on his paternal side. (He could have been adopted, however.) Note that his picture is NOT being broadcast widely in the MSM because it goes against the narrative of EEEEEEEvil white male opressor acting viciously against an OOOOOOOOOOpressed black yout.
“Yes the kid who was killed by the neighborhood watch is a horrible crime.”
Was it? Or have you just been led to believe it to be so?
Isn’t it funny that the police do an investigation, come to a conclusion, and we then decide that it’s the PRESS that has the facts, not the police?
odd sign.. based on the group that’s “protesting” you know that one of the things they’ll be demanding is the disarming of private citizens- which was one of the original jim crow laws.
You know if the shooter is Hispanic the media and the administration isn’t going to do anything.
God forbid they bring someone to justice who is part of their voting block.
“Let the animals kill each other. They will vote for us regardles”
No it’s not. Don’t trust those people wearing Hoodies. Infact, here in a East Bay city we have been having a rash of stores being robbed by gun point by suspects wearing Hoodies. My coworker was a victim in one of the store robberies by 2 dudes wearing Hoodies and mask.
“Yes the kid who was killed by the neighborhood watch is a horrible crime.”
You’re definitely jumping the gun on this. There’s no clear evidence this was a crime and wasn’t self defense, as claimed by the shooter, Mr. Zimmeran, who might well have been in legitimate fear of death or great bodily harm when he shot Martin. Please see:

The "Hood", "Hoodlum"
Using Trayvon’s tragic death as excuse, the marxists are promoting their own commie agenda, for America.
The commies are no longer lurking in the shadows. They are upfront, and in your face.
