I’m relatively certain this doesn’t matter one whit. The fact of the matter is that he’ll either be so unpopular that no amount of money can save him, OR, the process will be so corrupt no amount of money could overcome them. There’s corruption in every branch of the government, ESPECIALLY the courts. But it all comes down to an informed public, which money cannot buy (in fact money is thrown into making them uniformed, from public schools to public jobs, to public retirement). Bank on that.

But this “informed public” have their brains filled not by what they read but mostly by what they see and hear- especially on TV. Negative ads do have their effect.

He’s not “running” until he has an opponent. What does he have to spend his money on yet? This would be news if be didn’t have more money on hand.
