I left off North Carolina, which is another santorum state.

Santorum did well in Tennessee, and he does much better in republican counties. Romney wins Obama counties, but fails to win Republican counties.

Kentucky being almost 100 percent Republican, would bode very well for Santorum.

“I don’t think Romney needs Rubio to win FL. “

Gov. Scott only beat that pinko Alex Sink by 1% in the 2010 avalanche. Don’t put FL in the bank for the GOP just yet.

Bullshit

The GOP must die

No more blue blood country club military service avoiding cowards from planet Kolob or anywhere else in the twilight zone

DC is the problem, it’s the LAST place the muzzies will nuke

This Republic is lost due to the imposition of universal suffrage.

What will come in it’s place, and it might take another 50 to 100 years, will be a reset to what the FOUNDERS gave us.

You have stated so many times that if only Newt had told his supporters to vote for Rick in Ohio and Michigan Rick would be winning.

As a Newt supporter, I’m getting a little tired of Santorum supporters believing that I’m some “mind-numbed robot” who will vote the way someone tells me to. I’m pretty sure that Newt has far too much respect for his supporters to order us to vote for someone.

I’m not going to face my maker and try to explain why I voted for the lesser evil. Those days are done. There is no collective salvation.

I’m not sure why you think evangelical preaching has anything to do with it.

Further argument with me about it is a waste of time. People can blame me all they want, it has no effect on me.

The way the primaries, caucus’ have been run is a disgrace. The National Republican Party should be hung out to dry! the state leaders have walked in lock step with the establishment in many cases.
As a Newt supporter..I KNOW he is the best man for the job. I do not want the folks in Texas to be disenfranchised and not have the opportunity to vote for him. Perry and Norris are working hard for him down there.
Newt should stay in and hopefully gain bartering power at the convention. IF Newt dropped out..Romney would still be ahead of Santorum. Also, the mega bucks ads being spent bashing Newt would have been directed at Santorum who got a free pass for quite some time.

A solid Conservative VP choice could be Romney's political salvation.

I think a solid conservative VP would just be window dressing and an attempt to pander to the base. With the people romney would set up in Dc, I don't see a conservative VP having much influence over the agenda...

Those primary delegates will help determine which Republican Illinois won't vote for. And who the rest of the country will be stuck with. So it is far from meaningless.

Time for a new direction.

Aye, but the timing would just hand the election to Ø.

Gear up NOW for 2016.

In the meantime....PRAY that we make it to 2016. I certainly cannot/will not vote for Mittens.

time for Newt & Rick to exit so we can focus on the task at hand. The sooner the better.

Nope. Romney's feet have to be kept to the fire. If he is coronated, he will scoot to his Massachusetts liberal safe zone. We have to make him say conservative things so that we can call him on his lies should he happen to become president, which he would do without my vote.

Scorched earth has a price.

We are in the situation that we are in because of attitudes like that. The Republican establishment thumbs their nose in our faces because they say “You don't have anywhere else to go.” So they feel confident with putting forward increasingly more liberal candidates without fear of any conservative backlash.

Sure, Romney is more conservative than Obama in most ways, but Harry Truman and John Kennedy are more conservative than Romney. If we keep encouraging the liberal Republican establishment by voting for the establishment choice, then eventually our choice will be between two candidates even more liberal than Obama. At some point this acquiescing to the liberal Republican steamroller has to stop.

The greatest enemies of social conservatives are liberal Republicans. In Roe v. Wade, 7 of the 9 Supreme Court justices were appointed by Republican Presidents. In Lawrence v. Texas, 5 of the 9 justices were appointed by Republican Presidents.

It is scarcely mentioned in the mainstream media, but people with conservative religious beliefs are already being fined, fired, not allowed to graduate from college, and even jailed simply because of their faithfulness to those conservative religious beliefs. Perhaps those willing to always vote for the Republican establishment's choice will not face those problems, because they will probably not have the courage to stand firm for their beliefs. But a good many of us have more reason for concern.

Regardless of the odds, regardless of the outcome, some of us will continue to speak from the public square, from the corners of the crowd, from the recesses of society, from prison. Our voices will echo from the grave.

Voting for Romney is not the answer. It only postpones the inevitable.

Exactly right!

Romney is all about money. He couldn't care less about about the lefts attack on the family, our children, our freedoms, in fact HE created these problems for parents in MA. Schools are teaching 5 year old about protected sex and homosexuality, while academics has fallen drastically. We don't need our schools to fulfill socialist dreams, we need schools to get back to basics and teach RRR. We see a war on religious freedoms. We have abortion up to 9 months in the womb (which was fine with Romney in MA-until he wanted to be president) Hollywood wants all moral restrains thrown off, that is why most of them don't believe in a real God, He would cramp their style. The left wants our kids hearts and minds and we must fight for them. Rick is the ONLY one who is fighting the culture war, everyone else is SCARED to talk about it, it might hurt them. Politically. Sometimes the truth hurts and if the culture continues on the road it's on, God help our kids. Many parents do see this threat and chose the ONLY candidate willing to stand up for us.

FIGHT ON RICK!!!

RICK IS GIVING A GREAT SPEECH!

True - they will be big. I just think it’s too early to give up not when there’s so many conservative states that can be won.

Illinois, is now 48-34 despite the early call. So Santorum is gaining on Romney.

Can we ever just look forward to the future for the sake of our grandkids? I’m so sick of this divide. Conservatives all over the web are having a reality check and coming to grips with Romney - except here where hatred for Romney trumps the commie. It’s unbelievable to me. I’m no Romney supporter. From day one I thought Rick Perry was the man. And I sadley watched him torn apart here. He’s not lookin’ so bad now, huh? Everyone is so quick to forgive Newt’s and Santorum’s past - but not the governor of a super liberal state. I’m not thrilled with Romney but I do know he’ll be better than obama. Maybe that’s not a good enougth reason to vote for someone — but then again, we’ve never had an obama.

Nov. will not be rocket science.

You go into the voting booth and you vote either for as many Republicans as possible and then against obama. Anything else is sheer stupidity.

Trying to legitimize standing in the corner sucking your thumb because you didn't get your way seldom works.

If you fail to vote for the Republican nominee you have just helped obama. A man who wants to destroy the future for your kids.Once again, its not rocket science.

Texas is coming on line at the end of May.

That number of electors for Texas is 38.

Getting just 8% of the vote in IL is not exactly rocket fuel for Gingrich to go forward.
