Roodroppings. Tell that to all the innocents that have been kidnapped, raped, and/or tortured by the cartels either for ransom purposes or simply because they CAN. Mexico is little better than any other third-world obamatopia. If you are not related to one of the Ruling Families, then you can just sod off as far as any expectations of safety you might assume might be present anywhere.
That’s ridiculous. If you want to hate Mexico, fine; don’t let reality interfere with your vision. But most of the country is perfectly all right and you’re safer on the street there than in many American cities.
Unfortunately, Mexico is poorer than it should be because it’s basically a socialist country, which is its major structural problem.
The reason Obama is being secretive about this is not because of security, it’s because he doesn’t want to attract attention to the huge costs he and his family have incurred for their vacations.
