Obama's Daughter, Malia, Spring Breaks In Mexico With 25 Secret Service Agents (School Trip)

President Barack Obama's 13-year-old daughter, Malia Ann Obama, will be spending her spring break in the Mexican city of Oaxaca with 12 friends and 25 Secret Service agents.

The young tourists will be in a downtown hotel in the city known for its colonial architecture and native traditions, reported a state police official.

"We are here to block access to the hotel by other people and escort the vehicles that are carrying the visitors to tourism sites," the police official told the AFP under the condition of anonymity.

Along with the 25 secret service agents, Obama and her friends will protected by a slew of Mexican police officers, according to the AFP.

The group arrived in Oaxaca on Saturday and reportedly visited the architectural site of Mitla. They also visited the tree of El Tule, believed to be approximately one thousand years old. The group also plans to travel to Monte Alban, which is known for its archeological research as well as the artisan sections of the city.

Find this strange. . .how is that Sidwell came up with a trip to Mexico; when all sane citizens, know the 'travel advisory' recommendations/warnings; and threats inherent. So 'what' is the deal? And why 'favorable messaging and more so; with Malia on board; that supports 'travel messages' to Mexico and as well; a terror-supporting Goverment? Where is the 'political smarts here? A Where is common sense? Or something else at work. . .

Really am wondering; 'who' and how; this trip got off the ground; literally. And 'whose' idea was it? This more than strange; actually. . .IMHO

Something strange about this trip; given the 'place'. (A political favor? What? Or. . .just Liberals 'At Work'?

I get grief from the one knowledgeable about Spanish everytime I post that one. I put "king $#!+" through an internet translator and that's what I got.

The problem is, if I change the word, I destroy the hat, therefore, I left it as is, hoping someone would just get the main point of obama catering to the Hispanic vote. It's an old graphic and I don't have the base photo to revamp it with, sorry.
