Well, Santorum is right that we don’t need someone with Romney’s crony-capitalist acumen in office.

Yes and he should have done so long time ago. Romney would lose the elections to Obama mainly on the Bain Capital issue, that is unless the gas prices are still high by elections day and then he would have a good chance to beat Obama but in that case even a ham sandwich would have a good chance of beating Obama.
When Gingrich and Perry brought the Bain Capital issue few months ago they were quickly shutdown by many on our side and of course the establishment Republican who support Romney under the claim that attacking on Romney Bain Capital is an attack on Capitalism and that is absolute BS. Bain Capital is not the Capitalism that majority of Americans believes including a majority of conservatives and it represents the ugly side of business and most importantly it is a great political loser.
Someone wisely said: Capitalism can defeat Obama but Bain Capital cannot.

Do you really believe this country wants to elect a Wall Street financier as the president of the United States? Do you think thats the experience that we need? Someone whos going to take and look after as he did his friends on Wall Street and bail them out at the expense of Main Street America.
Santorum did not attack capitalism.
He attacked those who participated in and agreed to the Wall Street bailout. He went after those who ran businesses by those practices and principles that caused them not to blink about asking for a government bailout.
Santorum is right in this. He should be rejecting crony corporatism.
