Ive always agreed with abiotic oil but would add that we need to determine the balance point of our use v. abiotic production. ALL oil has biotic signatures. However, those biotic signatures may be from single cell swarms in pools of natural gas, eating and excreting. Thus the APPEARANCE or renewable. Once the natural gas (food) runs out, the life dies out leaving the bodies (biotic signatures).

Ive always agreed with abiotic oil but would add that we need to determine the balance point of our use v. abiotic production.That's long been my question as well. Once we know how fast it can be replenished, we know how to modulate the extraction rate to balance extraction vs production.
