The Talk Shows
March 18th, 2012
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney; actor George C. Looney and John Prendergast, co-founder of the Enough Project, an advocacy group that does work in Sudan.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; Clooney and Prendergast.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus; David Assholerod, adviser to Obama's re-election campaign.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Santorum; Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis.; Afghanistan's ambassador to the U.S., Eklil Hakimi.
When talking w/ MTP, he said the prior admin (Bush) tried to talk with these sand tick leaders which was, of course, futile but he later said 0 should confer w/ them. Which is it looneyclooney?
I agree with what yo said, zeros plan was always to savage the military, over use them demoralize them and then defund them.An axelrod way of destroying them, they are almost there.
Thanks,to ignore the influence of the left having both houses since 06 is ignorant.
It also helps explain how almost everything started taking an obama dive to the bottom of the pool since they achieved power int office. All I can say is hopefully, never again.
I would not use McVeigh as an example. I am hugely conspiratorial and believe the iraqis were behind him and one of the reasons GW chose them(Iraq) as a target(in addition to obvious prompts from 41) after 911.Don’t get me started. There is so much there.
Wow that just got me fired up!!!
I share your fears. Trouble is it may not be our call as things progress.
Few realize that most any of these tinhorn dictators are bought and sold regularly, they can even spell the word allegiance much less fathom what it means.
OK. Im NO fan of McVeigh, but one downside of capital punishment is we never find out what happened. Maybe keeping them around like Hannibal Lechter to “study them” is not always a bad idea (unless they escape!! Or get shanked or bludgeoned, like Jefrey Dauhmer). Of corse we have Terry Nichols but he seems to have been out of any loops. Maybe I should do some research before I solicit your theories, or private mail me some of them. Thanks
You are correct and you point out the Romney problems, and I agree with you. The point is, IF Romney is the eventual candidate, I will still vote for him over 0bama.
Once again, we may have to hold our noses and vote or the lesser of two evils. I don’t like it but I’ll take Romney over 0bama any day of the week. I also believe Romney would have conservatives in his White House to keep him in line.
Why did Fox give George friggin’ loonatick air time? What an asshat...
OK. Why would Fox news start being nice to libs, to Obama, etc? Well they already had the conervative side of the spectrum, and maybe they are tacking left to pick up more viewersihp in the spitit of “fair and balanced”? Maybe. But more like it is that Holder has Ruppert’s stones in his lockbox over the big hacking scandal and Obama is turning the screws, so to speak. More like it. Or maybe Fox has joined the hallowed ranks of the DDM/LameStreamMedia.
Yes, I will too.
Still, I want him to win, or, more to point, I want Obama to lose.
I wanted McCain to win for the same reason, but was dismayed by his lack of fire and enthusiasm for the job. Palin made that race a lot closer than it would have been.
If Romney campaigns like McCain, we'll get four more years of Obama, regardless of us voting for him.
Let us also remember other facts. In 2000, Bush was illegitimate, remember? But also remember the Republicans decided to have a “shared congress”, remember? Then we got Jeffords and later Specter.
The truth is, Republicans have ruled in name only since 2000. Bush signed the Ted Kennedy education bill and the Democrats have been running things behind the scenes for years.
We don’t need Republicans in office, we need conservatives.
IF we get four more years of 0zero, look for the establishment of a real Tea Party political party. I don’t believe conservatives will stand for another failed candidate from the GOP establishment.
Which show was Steyn on? Not on FNS, but tell me and I’ll look for a clip.
I’ll send a link when I’m back tomorrow, but this morning on cspan around 10 am central, Mark Levin spoke for an hour on his new book. He said we have to get BHO out first, so we can then take a breath, assess the damage then begin undoing it. He said before anyone applauds the idea of the GOP going the way of the Whigs, they should know that the Dems would be in power for a LONG time and that third parties have always done abysmally - that we should reform and take over the Party.
He took a lot of questions. It was very good.
You’re so right and I pray more will get this. If we’re to win this despite massive voter fraud, it can’t be a close election.
There’s an estimate I heard yesterday that if Romney gets the nomination, 15% of R’s will “stay home”.
Our republic can survive a lot of things and a lot of people. A second out of control term of the Evil Wan isn’t one of them.
yawn
Bravo to you both - if most on our side don’t get this, America loses. Permanently. No second chances.
Will do. I try not to go off the deep end toooo often but it happens.
