Convicted former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich's final hours of freedom are winding down before he must report to Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Englewood in Littleton, Colo., Thursday to serve his 14 years for corruption. * * * Blagojevich plans to make a statement at 5:02 p.m. Wednesday. It's not clear what he'll say, nor how he'll spend the hours before he leaves.

Does Blago have enough time to sell a political seat, before he goes in?
I kind of liked the cabbage patch kid for defying the Democrat machine. Anyway, convicting a Democrat for corruption is like charging fish for being wet.
Marathon sex session with the wife? He is going to have along dry spell. LOL
How long has he been twiddling his fingers, waiting to begin his sentence? Would Joe Blow get extra time to wind up his affairs before going into the pen? Anybody know if this delay between sentencing and actual sentence is standard, or did he get some sort of preferential treatment with this?
Does Blago have enough time to sell a political seat, before he goes in?
A bunch more politicians deserve to join him - we can only hope!
Will Blago be the papa or the Obama when he’s in prison?
I can’t wait to see his mug shot, without the hairpiece.
From his photo, I’d guess that he’s a “catcher”...
With white collar crimes this is very common in the federal system.
You might want to rethink that.
I see him with Big Bubba kissing and . . . . . . . .Forgettin all about the little wife at home.
He will also need lots of soap-on-a-rope. You know for times when Big Bubba ain't showering with him. Big Bubba may be one of those that don't like showers. . . . .
I was always hoping Blago had some incriminating stuff on Obama that he could use to help himself. But alas, no.
That's probably why he's being sent up. Political corruption is a proud Chicago tradition.
He once said, on tape, “the world is passing me by and I’m stuck in this %$@*&!@ governor’s job.” I’ll bet that %$@*&!@ governor’s job looks a lot better to him now.
If Blago wants to spend less time in the pokey, he needs to start singing.
"Watch your cornhole, bud."
He’s not in jail yet? These crimes happened nearly 4 years ago. We’re already in a new election cycle.
“Would Joe Blow get extra time to wind up his affairs before going into the pen?”
In point of fact, for non-violent offenses and if the offender is able to make bail, this happens quite often. Not usually this long, but weeks and if family or health issues merit it, months. It does happen quite a bit.
