Newt Gingrich Marriage Timeline

1962: Newt married Jackie Battley on June 19, 1962. (Battley was his biology teacher in high school when she sexually molested Newt. Nowadays, women who do that go to prison, like Mary Kay Latourneau did, in Washington State. Battley became pregnant and Newt felt obligated to marry her.)
1963: Newt’s daughter Kathy was born.
1966: Newt’s daughter Jackie Sue was born.
1980: Newt met Marianne Ginther in January 1980.
1980: Jackie and Newt separated in April 1980.
1981: Jackie Battley and Newt Gingrich’s divorce finalized February 1981. (Battley asked for the divorce, not Newt. She was later in the hospital for removal of a benign tumor when he and their daughters visited in the hospital. She is still alive, well, and doesn’t want to be bothered by journalists.)
1981: Six months later Newt married Marianne Ginther on August 8, 1981.
1987: Marianne and Newt separated in June 1987. (Marianne is bipolar and has substance abuse problems, mainly involving alcohol. Newt had attended AA meeting with her and endured over 18 years of contentious marriage as they frequently seperated.)
1993: Newt and Callista Bisek began their affair in November 1993.
1993: Marianne and Newt reconciled in late 1993/early 1994.
1999: Newt and Marianne separated May 1999; filed for divorce in July.
1999: Marianne and Newt reached a settlement in their divorce case.
2000: Marianne and Newt’s divorce was finalized in April 2000.
2000: Callista Bisek and Newt announced their engagement.
2000: Newt married Callista Bisek on August 18, 2000.

The MSM has repeatedly smeared Gingrich, labeling him a womanizer, in order to deflect attention away from Bill Clinton’s impeachment which was based on committing perjury before a Federal Judge.

I disagree. I believe Gingrich is hanging on for two reasons.... 1) He honestly believes he can win enough delegates at a brokered convention to win the nomination or 2) He will be Sarah Palin's VP nominee.

Just sayin.

So Newt never cheated on any of his wives?

Hmmmm....

Newt cheating < economy collapsing

What do you think is more important?

So Santorum never stole money from a Pennsylvania school district?

So if Newt promises you, a complete stranger and prospective voter, that he's going to implement his plan to fix the economy, you'll buy it hook line and sinker, when he's got a demonstrated track record of not exactly standing by his promises to those closest to him.

Gotcha.

Um, no. That's an old smear that was dug up to tar him during the 2006 campaign. It's been discredited, but if it makes you feel better to keep repeating democrat lies, knock yourself out.

Rick was faithful to his wife. How’d he do at cutting government?

Gotcha :)

I hope Newt stays in long enough that I can vote for him here in Wisconsin.

#1 Newt is drawing votes of people that would stay home rather than vote for Mitt or Rick. His participation has increased the turn out as many genuinely want him as president.

#2 If Newt drops out, Rick would be the lone target of the elites, and if he keeps putting his foot into his mouth big time , he'll be destroyed by the MSM and Mitt will be the only one standing. We need Newt as a backup.

#3 All the votes Newt can garner will go to Rick at the convention on the second vote.

Not too bad, actually, if you go by the criteria of the National Taxpayers Union:

Rick Santorum: Fiscal Conservative?

"It is not bull. Romney does not have the Conservative vote. Rick and Newt have it."

Very true. Santorum should drop-out and Newt would surge.

I still believe in a free nation even though I wish someone should drop out. America is about freedom and not forcing people on what they should do.

I’d love for either of those two scenarios to happen and it can.

Gingrich last public statement after coming in second in Mississippi and Alabama was sounding more in the vein of reassessing after Louisiana next Saturday. Sounded like he was beginning to subtly back away from this “all the way to Tampa” business and if Santorum wins LA., the guy has not much anywhere to go.The majority of Southern states will have voted and the rest of the country seems to be wed to Santorum as the conservative choice. Also, his main money squeeze in Las Vegas is quite wealthy and as such may be quite familiar with the not throwing good money after bad rule.

IMHO, Newt wants to take Mit behind the woodshed for the deceitful manner in which Mit crushed him early on.

Revenge is without equal in motivating an ashes in your mouth pay-back, and Newt is a past master in its' execution. God bless 'em.

When it’s 37-31-14, Newton is splitting “conservative” votes if there are any conservatives left. Newton knows what he is doing, but he believes himself mentally superior to all others, and perhaps he is. He is destined to be another Perot. I wonder what percent of 1992 Perotistas are now Newt people.
