I’m voting for him tomorrow!.....I can barely wait!

Anyway you can put my vote in there as a "I second it!!!!

Can't vote til they get to Pa....am so anxious about that...and by the way...Santorum does not have many here in his court....that should tell those voting for Santorum something but they are thus far dull of hearing.

-- Newt knows fully well that when people can and do hear his plans and message of what he intends to do they will rally for him...the problem is the media and all he faces who are opposing him are getting in the way of Newt being heard. --

I think he's also aware of the cost of his "baggage." While he is confident he can persuade many people, he also knows that not only are quite a few firmly aligned against him, many others won't hear his message, or won't believe it, so will either sit it out or vote for an opponent. IOW, I think he has a realistic outlook. He knows negative ads worked (he described bouncing back from 5 million dollars of them in Iowa, and 20 million in FL).

One thing I like is his determination to have his message heard at the convention. The GOPe is messing with fire, by cutting against him and appearing to reject his proposals while doing so.

I didn’t hear Rick say anything specific that he would do as Commander in Chief. Maybe I missed it. All I heard him say is that we can’t let Iran get a nuclear weapon. Duh!

Newt made several specific national security actions that he would take.

I have also heard Newt’s postion on Afghanistan, that we need to get out and stop supporting a government that does nothing when our soldiers are murdered. That was not asked tonight.

He nailed Obama and Panetta Spot On!

“wasn’t Santorum HIMSELF a lobbyist?”

Yes, he was the go-between for K Street project. “K Street Project,” created by Grover Norquist and and House majority whip Tom DeLay. Santorum was the Senate’s “point man” on the K Street Project and met with Norquis to discuss the effort to sure that Republicans were landing well-paying jobs in lobbying firms that were seeking to then access and influence other Republicans. After he lost his seat, he went to work for his lobbyist contacts from Wa.DC

Is he done if he doesn’t win PA?

LOL.

That’s the meme for everyone else.

Ought to be for Ron Paul too, in Texas.

I think that this audience could have sat there for another hour for Newt.

Newt seem to have them. Wow, the applause. His answers were jammed pack of solutions and truth. Rick went on and on, mostly in circles. Newt said that he did not come there to speak ill of the others. He did point out his strengths compared to the other candidates and why he felt that he could beat Obama in the general. He said he was not getting out of the race since he felt Santorum nor Romney could beat Obama. That came across as sincere and as though he was worried if either of those men tried to fight Obama head to head on ideas; they would not be able to save the country. Newt says the country has to be saved first ( by defeating Obama), then implementing new polices, redirecting our efforts on judges who do not follow the constitution ( by replacing them) and to work on getting the country back strong and safe. He took Obama to task like Romney could never do. He told us that HW Bush only won because he ran as a Reagan conservative though HW Bush wanted to run as a moderate. More proof, that the GOP knows straight up, running with a strong conservative could win this election in a landslide. Always, the party ruling class is the problem. Newt can handle this big job. Please vote for America, vote for Newt. We don't need more of the same as we got out of the Bush years. I don't want to go into the fall election with that battle cry. My activist groups will not be energized enough.

Back tracking a bit...so you are familiar with Butler? It really is a fleabag community.

I had to laugh when someone asked him about being raised in Butler awhile back....and he could only say he had fond memories...then quickly changed the subject. There’s no way he’s going to associate much with that community.....that’s why he and the press always mention him being from Pittsburgh and constantly mention that and Virginia.....there simply isn’t anything good you can say about that community today....and it’s really a shame it’s become such a bad place.

Heck the people won’t go downtown because it’s too dangerous....and when they were building the new jail there the windows were busted out before it even was operational!

As demonstrated, yet again, in the speeches today, the difference between Santorum and Newt are crystal clear and like night and day.

For the good of our country, there is only one choice.... and that is Newt Gingrich.

-- Made Santorum look like an alter boy. --

Santorum did all that to himself. He was talking with the cadence and delivery of a preacher about half the time. I think that was a "play to the audience," similar to Romney's "I like grits."

What Santorum supporters fail to realize is that the math is against their candidate even if it is a two man race. It is practically IMPOSSIBLE for Santorum to win enough delegates to clinch the nomination now. But they still want Newt to drop out because they think that Rick should be coronated just like the GOP E thinks that Mitt should be coronated.

Sorry, it ain't happening. We are going to the convention. We are fighting for every delegate between now and then. We are fighting for every unbound delegate. This thing is so not over. Why do we fight so hard? Because we believe with all of our heart and soul that Newt is the ONLY one that can beat Obama. I will be at my District Convention and at my State Convention. (alternate delegates for both) I am really looking forward to it :)

Newt said he is NOT going to leave this race...and I'm for him staying all the way......and you know what...I think even Santorum will stay the whole way there.

You're right about the GOP they realize this race is about them and the grassroots.....so does the media and pretty much everyone who is watching this. But they didn't listen and opted to run with Romney......STUPID! So now this is going to play out exactly as Newt and Santorum want it to.....and if they loose in the end there's not a soul that can say they and the grassroots people didn't fight this thing.

But of course we expect a Newt Victory! and I truly think it's going to happen because they constantly try to out wit the Newt......and he's always steps ahead of them....

Rick is like a cross between Jimmy Swaggart and Jimmy Carter, and we all know how well that worked out.

I could listen to Newt all day. He is inspiring and we have not had that since Reagan.

To me Santorum looks like a competent but socially awkward middle school principal.
