I love the Carly Simon reference, a girlfriend I had when I was very young played that song over and over again. It does definitely describe Gloria and Jane. Rush has said much worse things about people over the years to describe their behavior and survived, this seems to be a tempest in a teapot. I talked to a couple of extreme liberals about this and they don't seem to actually care about the girl, she is just a tool to attack Rush.
