I can make it simpler than that:

There are some conservatives out there who honestly believe that a pro-life voting record is enough to make someone a conservative.

In reality, pro-life is necessary but not sufficient. (In the lingo of mathematics.)

Too many conservatives (they are a minority, but a large minority) just don’t get that.

They thought Robertson was a conservative. They thought Huckabee was a conservative. And now they think Santorum is a conservative.

Whole lot of thinkin' goin' on there.

Reminds me of having the back wheels on the grass, and a brick on the gas pedal.

Honestly, it’s more than that.

Being pro-life is not enough. What is the criteria for these ‘conservatives’ is an agenda to use government to force their morality (and not just the pro-life issue) onto every man, woman, and child in our nation.

For government is just the application of force.

In other words, this section of ‘conservatives’ simply desires the ability to tell their neighbor what to do and how to do it. Which is modern liberalism.
