Santorum: "I'd Like Everybody To Get Out"
YAHOO NEWS ^ | 5 hrs ago.. | Ben Terris

Rick Santorum needs about 60 percent of the remaining delegates to claim the Republican nomination. It would be an easier task, he admits, if former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich would drop out, but Santorum would not call explicitly for him to do so.

“The Speaker can stay as long as he wants,” Santorum said on NBC’s Meet the Press this morning. Instead, a Super PAC supporting Santorum has run ads calling for Gingrich to drop out of the race. (snip for excerpt purp.)

“We’re in a great position now as we go forward,” he said.

Of course, there would be an easy way for Santorum to really make up ground: “I’d like everybody to get out,” he said.

[ Gingrich should have dropped out after Santorum’s Trifecta wins and before the MI primary. Had he done so, Romney would have lost MI and he would have been toast. Gingrich is now on an ego trip. ]

If Santo or Willard win the primary Zero wins the election..
If Newt wins the primary the massive brain wash begins..

If Santo, Willard or Obama wins then the Unions win and OWN America.. course they would prefer Zero..

Newt would fight against Obamas BILLION dollars and every single dollar the Unions can pluck from their members..
PLUS every bit of FREE advertising Nbs, Cbs, Abs, and Pbs and cable can bring to bear..
PLUS most Newspapers Mags, and many internet blogs..
PLUS much as much propaganda academia can generate..
PLUS there must be movies Hollywood has waiting...

Cause they KNOW NEWT is a force to reckoned with, a very very dangerous man..
Santo and Willard are just “the Beav” and “Eddie Haskell”.., mosquitoes..

"It may be that the rest of Newt supporters will go Romney even though they may likely not like it, but they have no other choice left. "

I have no polls or macro data to support it, but I can say every Newt supporter I know...a couple of dozen...would puke, then pull the lever for Romney over Santorum.

They will not vote for the Church Lady.

I am sure that differs by region and state.

Just remember, Santorum ALREADY has those who vote "values first". He has them all.

Values first voters are not Gingrich supporters. Generally they are "values too" voters.

Sounds just like Obama...

Of course, everything he says sounds like Obama (with his polarity switched, from D to R).

You mean Newt and Mitt? Sorry Newt can't even catch Mitt's footprints—Santorum is the only one who can overtake the Mass RINO.

But the way you post it is hard to tell who you are helping—it sure ain't Santorum and even you know Newt ain't got a chance so that leaves...

We may as well reserve ourselves to the reality that Romney wins and Santo knocks Newt out.

It's a shame the way this race is ending up. And there is little either of us can do about it.

I predict that Romney will pick Santo as his VP candidate.

And according to the polls, that combination has a moderate possibility of winning. But we also know the degree the MSM will take to change that.

"[Psycho-Freep distorts everything]"

This is a continuation of the norm for many (not all) Santorum supporters. If you attack Santorum or ANY of his positions, you, as a Freeper in good standing will be personally attacked by them. It's been going on for more than a month now. I don't know if it's coordinated or if it's just indicative of the type of support Santorum attracts.

You are very much in tune FRiend. I am also hearing the same thing from most of the Oil Industry I work with. They want Newt, but see Romney as volumes above Santo. They make no qualms over the fact that if Newt drops out, they vote Romney. And they are in the biggest primary states still yet to vote.

And none of them have ever heard of Free Republic and what I pointed out, is unanimous among them.

“Little Ricky Santorum will be DESTROYED by the Mittens “Schorched-Earth TV Ad Campaign” that will take place in Pennslyvannia ...”

If Gingrich does withdraw, that will not be necessary.

Yep.

To many supposed ‘conservatives’ have no problem with liberal methods... it just that liberals have the wrong ‘message’.

Combine the ‘right’ message with liberal methods and our ‘conservatives’ are happy as clams.

Those ‘conservatives’ are nothing more than anti-Liberals. IE: liberals with their polarity switch reversed.

"I am willing to take a chance and put up with the psychosis in order for my candidate to keep surging."

Psychosis? Really?

Do you have evidence that he has a psychosis?

Or are you just smearing your fellow Freeper?

I just listened to Senator Santorum’s interview on MTP. Not to be rude, but-—

Why in the world would anybody vote for this guy? He actually said he needs his wife as a “governor” for when he goes overboard and calls the President a snob or says JFK’s speech makes him want to vomit. I challenge voters that, instead of watching the Senator, try just listening to him. As he gets more and more worked up his voice gets higher and higher and he talks faster and faster. No wonder his wife has to help “walk him back” so often. Tell me, will his wife be there during Cabinet meetings or high level talks with foreign leaders?

Take away your “Social purity” issues, and Santorum is every bit, the moderate to RINO that Romney is. The record clearly illustrates that. So save your breath trying to “educate” me.

I can make it simpler than that:

There are some conservatives out there who honestly believe that a pro-life voting record is enough to make someone a conservative.

In reality, pro-life is necessary but not sufficient. (In the lingo of mathematics.)

Too many conservatives (they are a minority, but a large minority) just don’t get that.

They thought Robertson was a conservative. They thought Huckabee was a conservative. And now they think Santorum is a conservative.

[If Gingrich does withdraw, that will not be necessary.]

I agree, then Romney will likely sweep the remaining states. And 3 of which Santorum failed to fully get on the ballot in. Having Newt stay in, is our best chance to save this in a Brokered Convention.

.

That photo of Romney and Santorum ... genuinely gives me the CREEPS ...

To the political "ostrich-doubters" who "haw-haw" the idea that Mitten and Rickey aren't political "bedfellows" ... (a little Shakespeare there for those in Rio Linda) ...

That photo speaks volumes ...

Any "straight" man who sees that photo knows something "weird" is going on between these two metro-sexual love-birds ...

In fact ... Romney (who NEVER genuinely smiles from his SOUL) ...

seems to be having a "CHRIS MATTHEWS Leg Tingle" over his "deep and passionate friendship" with Little Ricky ...

Of course, this photo item (provided by Psycho-Freep) was probably "photoshopped" anyway ...

Undoubtedly ... Psycho-Freep merely added the "CNN CNN CNN" background ...

with the "source image" (Romney and Santorum's UGHHH love-fest) ...

obtained from secret footage of a clandestine meeting between Romney and Santorum ...

after Newt Gingrich and TRUE South Carolina Conservatives ...

BLASTED Willard's hopes for a South Carolina Coronation ...

to hell and back ...

with Newt's incredible victory.

What's Santorum smiling about in this photo ... other than being a gold-standard-political suck-up to Mittens ?

Well ... if Mittens wins the GOP Nomination .. and then the Presidency ...

THEN ... Little (unemployed and unqualified) Ricky Santorum ...

can actually have a "paying job" ... serving as "Fudge" Romney's Manservant ...

Rick Santorum ... worshipping the "Color of Mormon Money" ...

No doubt, General Patton would have B####-Slapped Little Ricky all the way back to Utah for this stunt ...

.

They thought Robertson was a conservative. They thought Huckabee was a conservative. And now they think Santorum is a conservative.

Whole lot of thinkin' goin' on there.

Reminds me of having the back wheels on the grass, and a brick on the gas pedal.

Santorum: statist with conservative morals

Newt: individualist with conservative morals

Romney: statist with liberal morals

Paul: individualist with liberal morals

And you want to choose the statist?!? Why on G-d’s green earth would any Conservative, when seeing the choices, choose a statist?

We fought a revolution over that, remember?
