“We’re in a great position now as we go forward,” said Santorum.

Yeah, to capture the nomination for Vice-President.

There is a very strong argument that if Newt drops out, most of his votes will go to Romney instead and backfire on Santorum and his supporters. Since Romney has actual executive experience and Santorum has zero.

It may be that the rest of Newt supporters will go Romney even though they may likely not like it, but they have no other choice left.

“I’d like everybody to get out,” he said.

Well Rick could be a leader make the first move thus showing the way.

My spidey senses tell me there be a little left-wing wacko media spinning of the incident going on here.

I am willing to bet that Santorum was simply responding to a question the talking sh*t-for-brains of a host asked him. Probably after he was aksed about Newt Gingrich's calls for him to get out of the race. Something along those lines.

And even if he did offer it up unsolicited, I doubt he yelled as the exclamation point leads us to believe.

I think everyone knows I am a Newt guy; however, I heard Rick say something like this the other day (not sure if it was the same interview) and he clearly said it in jest ...more like: Sure it would be nice if everyone else dropped out. He clearly wasn't being serious ...or “series,” either!

I have maintained the only viable strategy is two-on-one. We need both Rick and Newt staying in to continue to force Romney to split his funds and forces against both Rick and Newt.

Neither Rick nor Newt can win right now if this becomes a one-on-one battle w/Romney. Romney must first be further weakened and his “inevitability” challenged and disproved; then his support will diminish and he becomes assailable. The rest can be sorted out on down the road.

I’m sure Newt is grateful to Ricky for letting him stay in the race. Especially since Newt has more delegates.

Of course each would like all the others to get out. You, psycho-Freep, want Santorum to drop out. Yahoo is part of the enemy, but as long as they are trying to rip Santorum, they are good enough for you to post.

It’s crunch time. Newt and Santorum supporters have the choice: vote for your favorite and let the chips lie where they may. Or, vote in your state for the one most likely to crush Romney. Period.

I am fatigued of the infight on FR between Rick and newt. They are both conservatives. They are both flawed. So vote against mitt or vote your fave, but lay off the supporters of the other here.

Totally repeatedly rearranging like a flaming designer the deck chairs on the Romney titanic.

Gingrich should have dropped out after Santorum’s Trifecta wins and before the MI primary. Had he done so, Romney would have lost MI and he would have been toast. Gingrich is now on an ego trip.

Proof Beck was in the tank for Romney the whole time.

Glenn Beck Sounds Off On Endless GOP Race

Responding to Bill O'Reilly's charge that the race "never seems to end", Beck said, "I think it's time that it ends." Though Beck supports Rick Santorum, he admitted, "I think we're at the end here, or very near the end. If you do the math, it's darn near mathematically impossible ... for anybody but Romney to take it."

Has anyone else noticed that, over time, the more that Psycho-Freep posts, the worse that Newt does and the better that Rick does?

Coincidence? Maybe. But as a long-time Santorum supporter, I am willing to take a chance and put up with the psychosis in order for my candidate to keep surging.

Go Psycho-Freep!! /s
