**am starting to get

never mind. gah!

The first time I will blame my mouse, the second time I blame me.

Seriously, I don’t know if it is my computer or my mouse. I’ve never experienced this quirk. I try and highlight and delete, it jumps all over and denies me or rearranges. My highlight function is as crazy as Cooter Brown and leaves me a mess. *shrug*

Sorry ‘bout the mess

I've dealt with this. It's probably one of a couple of possibilities: 1) You are using a cordless mouse and your batteries are running low, 2) You are using an optical mouse (the kind with the red light on the bottom instead of a ball) on a high-gloss, reflective surface, or 3) both 1 & 2.

If it's #1, replace batteries. If #2, try putting a mousepad under your mouse, or some other non-reflective surface, preferably black. Table tops should do, as long as they are not too shiny.

Good luck.
