I don't know if those two statements are mutually exclusive.
The Unitarians don't believe in anything. So being a member of a denomination that doesn't believe in anything is like not being a member of a denomination.
I just know the high holy days for Unitarians are the Sundays right before an election. Their church is next door to mine and their parking lots (and all up and down the surrounding streets) are packed on the Sundays before elections. Otherwise, their parking lot is half-full on Sundays. I think theyre religion is purely based on political fervor.
