The year 1962 was to be a banner year for
Gerry Goffin and Carole King, and it started quite well.
The Cookies: “Chains”
Across the pond, even The Beatles, not yet famous, recorded it and didn’t mess with the basic idea.
Even Carole King took a shot at it in 1980. This is a live performance and is sheer fun.
