The lead investigator in Sheriff Joe Arpaios review of the authenticity of Barack Obamas birth certificate today unloaded a bombshell about the case: that he was told by sources members of the media were threatened with federal investigations should they continue to report on the birth certificate issue.
Lead investigator Mike Zullo told WND that as he was preparing information to be presented to the public it was clear that the mainstream media was not going to be in attendance at the sheriffs scheduled new conference, where he revealed facts suggesting both fraud and forgery in the image of a Hawaiian birth certificate that the White House released as proof positive of Obamas eligibility for office last year.
During our investigation, we actually were told [that media] had been threatened with FTC investigations. Commentators [had been] threatened with their jobs, Zullo said. The threats were so intimidating that some individuals quit their positions over safety concerns for their families, he said.
So the problem became to get the information to the American public in spite of an intentional media blackout, since citizens still must make critical leadership decisions about their government through the election process.

No, I don’t think Arpaio beleives anything the Birthers say.

El Sordo, you are hopeless.
You’ve played along as though you would believe if only there was somebody credible who has access to genuine evidence who was making the claims. So we get a law enforcement officer who spent the first month of a legal investigation trying to prove that the BC was legitimate but ending up instead going where the evidence leads him and publicly showing the proof that it’s not, as well as verifying that the media WAS threatened.... and you write it off as simply being the “same tired old claims that have been tossed about since 2008”.
You are flat-line. There’s no heartbeat there, no way to revive you. As Yuri Bezmenov would say, you are so demoralized that you can’t see what’s in front of your face, no matter what evidence or facts are presented. Either that, or you’re part of the team working on demoralizing the rest of us.
Your comments are trollish and I’m not going to waste any more time on you. I shake the dust off my feet.
No one in his office did.
And from the looks of it, his usual cold case posse members wouldn't have anything to do with it.
The ‘cold case posse’ who did the “investigating” appears to consist of previously declared Birthers and their report was largely a reprinting of Corsi’s book. And they do not appear to have sought any credible evidence.
Arpaio hasn't put anything official behind the conclusion and doesn't seem to be taking any further action beyond a press conference. If time goes on and he continues to do nothing but let the cold case posse issue pronouncements then you have to decide if he really believes any of it or is just using Birthers for political expediency.
And the claim that the media was threatened comes from Zullo, not Arpaio. And Zullo provides nothing to back it up.
I had been under the impression that a cyanide poisoning was not quick, but somewhat slow and agonizing. This sounds like he was dead before hitting the ground. Especially since the guy said he didn’t notice him in any distress; he just fell over. Maybe some of the medically trained on here can tell us what happens with a sudden aortic dissection.
“And the theories are???”
... available to anyone with open eyes, ears, and minds.
He/she/it has always been tollish & a puppet and most probably here to collect “stimilus” money from the “Master”???
Has no clue what Bezmenov were telling us from his background in USSR decades ago. Leaches like blood!!!
Now you are contradicting yourself, because Arpaio finally found out that Dr. Corsi WAS right, like he was in 2004 about John sKerry, and we don't buy either what YOU say or produced!!!
"Very clever." So again - just tap-dancing with words, - what has that to do about your theories why WND is present at the W.H.???
Are you sure your handle doesn't translate to "minion of Soros", El Sor(os)do?
There is a lot being discovered and discussed in other web-forums. It’s easy enough to find for anyone interested. I am surprised this is news to anyone.
The idea that Sheriff Joe would use the “birthers” for political expediency is the nuttiest claim yet (although it’s got a lot of competition!). The media were quick to suggest political motives for Arpaio, saying this was to divert attention from the DOJ’s accusations against him. Arpaio pointed out that the DOJ’s accusations came AFTER he referred this issue to the posse.
Any honest reporter should have then reversed the question and asked the DOJ if their accusations were politically motivated, in response to Arpaio authorizing the posse to investigate Obama’s eligibility. Given that we’ve got federal officials saying in e-mails that the deaths of Brian Terry and hundreds of Mexicans were “collateral damage” in the political battle to get rid of 2nd Amendment rights - in an operation where the ATF, AZ US Attorney, DOJ, HOmeland Security, and DEA all worked together to sell untrackable guns to the Mexican drug cartels that were known to be terrorizing northern Mexico.... the answer to that is a no-brainer.
If putting a bulls-eye target on yourself to be lashed at with all the power of the federal government is “politically expedient” then MAYBE Arpaio would use the “birthers” for political expedience. Makes about as much sense as somebody purposely publicly claiming to have committed tax evasion.
As for the claims that the posse did no real investigation, if El Sordo is going to claim that then he should reimburse me for the mailing costs to send my evidence to Zullo, should reimburse Zullo for the phone time he spent talking to me about particular evidence and sources, should reimburse the other detective for the phone time he spent talking to at least one other colleague I know of, etc.
As I’ve said, I’ve got e-mails that would show ES’s claims to be flat-out wrong. But he knows they are wrong. He’s not even attempting to document anything he says. Because he is a troll. Period. Maybe it’s time for him to get the zot. He has abandoned his previous attempts to seem “concerned” about the “lack of evidence” and now he’s showing what he really is.
And I have been boycotted by the biggest eligibility ping list there is because I was willing to address the claims by people like El Sordo. So I am somebody who took a personal kick in the pants for the sake of addressing the concerns of genuine doubters who might consider what the trolls were saying. Scrutiny from doubters has kept me from being able to overlook stuff I might not have wanted to check out. I want the scrutiny. But this is just plain garbage.
If he was showing no signs of distress, was "dead before hitting the ground" & his skin color was "bright red," does a sudden tear in the aorta fit this description?
"Sudden severe chest or upper back pain, often described as a tearing, ripping or shearing sensation, that radiates to the neck or down the back
Loss of consciousness (fainting)
Shortness of breath
Sudden difficulty speaking, loss of vision, weakness, or paralysis of one side of your body, such as having a stroke
Sweating
Weak pulse in one arm compared to the other
[1] [2]...When to see a doctor If you have signs or symptoms such as severe chest pain, fainting, sudden onset of shortness of breath, or symptoms of a stroke, call 911 or emergency medical assistance."
And...
"Symptoms
Virtually everyone who has an aortic dissection experiences paintypically sudden, excruciating pain, often described as tearing or ripping. Most commonly, the pain is felt across the chest but is often also felt in the back between the shoulder blades. The pain frequently travels along the path of the dissection as it advances along the aorta.
As the dissection advances, it can close off the points at which one or more arteries branch off from the aorta, blocking blood flow. The consequences vary depending on which arteries are blocked. Consequences include stroke (if the cerebral arteries, which supply the brain, are blocked), heart attack (if the coronary arteries, which supply the heart muscle, are blocked), sudden abdominal pain (if the mesentery arteries, which supply the intestines, are blocked), lower back pain (if the renal arteries, which supply the kidneys, are blocked) and nerve damage that causes tingling or an inability to move a limb (if the spinal arteries are blocked)."
Those symptoms don't seem to fit what happened to Breitbart.
In the quick searching I've done, I wasn't able to find anything that indicated that ones skin would...or even might, turn a more reddish color after suffering from a tear of the Aorta.
Additionally, it doesn't sound like a tear would cause someone to drop like a sack of potatoes and never regain consciousness.
OTOH, a massive aortic aneurysm certainly has the potential to drop someone like that. However, if that were the cause, his skin color would be pale (etc.), but not "bright red."
The coroner is waiting several weeks for the results of toxicology test(s) to come back, to make sure they "cover all the bases."
I'm thinking that a physical tear or bursting of his aortic artery would not require toxicology results. That would be readily observed and no doubt reported within days. At least, in a preliminary report.
The circumstances, the eye witness account, the rush to call this "natural causes" before a cause of death is known...does seem highly suspicious.
So why doesn’t Arpaio do something about it?
So, is my statement incorrect?
I suppose it could be argued that he did something by tossing the matter to the cold case posse. But it stands that so far he won't get his office tied to the political anchor that is Birtherism.
