Only time I EVER drove during the weather times was when I was getting paid to do it.

Back in the early '80s, I found out about flash floods in NM arroyos. I don't even trust the interstate during monsoon.

But my little blond buddy and I might have paid extra for similar entertainment in a safe basement. ;)

I hear ya! I have driven like mad a few times to make sure I was ahead of a storm front. Fortunatley, I was often passed by NM highway patrol who just waved politely as they blazed past me. :-)
