Hey Naps, thanks for the post. I’m in Ct, and just got back from my jog— The weather is great- for this time of year. _;)

As for the Tenn defection, my only point is, that Newt hasn’t tried to subterfuge Rick by tactics- Newt hasn’t gone to Rick’s insiders and lobbied them to turn on Rick. On thge other hand, your guy has clearly done so.

Now, I agree wt you, if you’re talking tactical politics- that might have been a winner for Rick.

But, for myself, I don’t vote on subterfuge and Machiavellian tactics, I vote on ideas and beliefs.

Rick, should challenge Newt to a one-on-one debate based on his ideas and visions for the conservative movement— and if Rick’s visions and ideas are better- than I will concede that Rick is the right candidate.

But Naps, honestly, I don’t think Rick has the guts to face Newt one-on-one. Accordingly, on principle, I’ll stay with the candidate who is the champion of conservatism.

Always good to hear from you, Napster.

I agree they should do a Lincoln Douglas Debate. I loved the one with Cain. Apparently he and Huntsman did one too, but I missed that one. I am sure that was a good one too. Again, it won’t be Rick to request it. It would have to be Newt calling Rick and asking him to do it. I think Rick would do it if asked. But asking on TV probably won’t get Rick to do it. I just wonder how much those two talk to each other. Apparently they are friendly but with all the back and forth stuff that I believe the media makes up, I don’t know how much they are talking to each other right now.

I am glad that you are enjoying this great weather. Apparently tomorrow is even going to be better. I hope you have a great rest of the day! I savor the day when we get rid of the crap that is in the White House. Listening to Newt’s speech last night really makes me think that I don’t care who wins, Newt or Santorum. He does have a way of getting me psyched with his ideas.

I was a little upset with his 2.50 price per gallon gas but then someone said he is being conservative and it will go even lower with his policies. But would you rather him say 1.00 a gallon and it goes down to 1.50 or for him say 2.50 a gallon and it goes down to 1.50. I think that was a brilliant explanation for Newt’s thinking and now I love it......lol.
