Rick, should challenge Newt to a one-on-one debate based on his ideas and visions for the conservative movement— and if Rick’s visions and ideas are better- than I will concede that Rick is the right candidate.
I agree they should do a Lincoln Douglas Debate. I loved the one with Cain. Apparently he and Huntsman did one too, but I missed that one. I am sure that was a good one too. Again, it won’t be Rick to request it. It would have to be Newt calling Rick and asking him to do it. I think Rick would do it if asked. But asking on TV probably won’t get Rick to do it. I just wonder how much those two talk to each other. Apparently they are friendly but with all the back and forth stuff that I believe the media makes up, I don’t know how much they are talking to each other right now.

I savor the day when we get rid of the crap that is in the White House. Listening to Newt’s speech last night really makes me think that I don’t care who wins, Newt or Santorum. He does have a way of getting me psyched with his ideas.
I was a little upset with his 2.50 price per gallon gas but then someone said he is being conservative and it will go even lower with his policies. But would you rather him say 1.00 a gallon and it goes down to 1.50 or for him say 2.50 a gallon and it goes down to 1.50. I think that was a brilliant explanation for Newt’s thinking and now I love it......lol.
Santorum should debate Gingrich. Rick can get some fresh talking points from Newt. His speech in Ohio last night, pretty much mimicked what Newt says but of course, without the passion. That was only a small portion, the bulk of it was about his family, his roots and some mumbling about freedom and beating Obama.
Since Santorum has debated Gingrich many times, it won’t do anything. Newt will of course win the debate because he is the best debater. Of course Newt wants another 1.5 hours shining. He LOVES to shine.
But it won’t change the votes, so Romney can spend that evening in the tanning bed, and still win the nom.
People know Newt wins debates. It doesn’t matter. He still can’t get the votes.
