I think Newt is basically finished at this point. It’s great that he’s got endorsements, but if he can’t bring home the bacon at the ballot box - aside from his home state, which is a given - then we shouldn’t pretend that he’s a viable candidate.

Newt’s only purpose left is to ensure a Romney win. All the frothing at the mouth supporters of him here will have some ‘splainin to do when he inevitably stabs the conservative movement in the back yet again after the primaries.
