I will never forget when I was a student in Middle East History class back in the 1980s, we once had a graduate student as a substitute. He stated categorically that the Palestinans were justified in terror against Israel, and “if Israeli babies had to die to achieve a Palestinian state, so be it.” No one called him on it.
