Actually, RS has made numerous statements in his political career about sex being for procreation only. Now, while he has never indicated he would govern with that as an issue, he has stated it, and thus the article is not totally off base in bringing it up.

You are misinterpreting what Santorum said. He said he believed sex should occur in a committed and loving relationship, such as marriage, between a man and a woman.

He clearly stated that this was his personal belief. He never said the resources of the government should be wasted policing people who have sex outside marriage.
