Rush Limbaugh is probably not sweating this one, folks. The critics keep piling on. But the immensely popular talk radio host has the biggest "sponsor" of all on his side: Clear Channel radio network.
Arizona Sen. John McCain, Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, and New York's Cardinal Timothy Dolan are among the latest to criticize Limbaugh for calling a Georgetown University student a "slut" and a "prostitute" after she testified in favor of birth control insurance coverage.
But Clear Channel's Premiere Radio Networks Inc., which hosts Limbaugh's conservative talk show, has voiced its unwavering support for Limbaugh, whose contract runs through 2016.
"The contraception debate is one that sparks strong emotion and opinions on both sides of the issue," Premiere Networks told the Associated Press. "We respect the right of Mr. Limbaugh, as well as the rights of those who disagree with him, to express those opinions."
A representative for Premiere declined to tell the news service how much revenue the company is losing over the recent loss of advertisers seeking to distance themselves from Limbaugh and his comments....

Hey you were wide open on that one, and I couldnt pass it up. If you're offended lighten up and enjoy the moment, I did.
The cure for all things Rush is, if you don't like him, don't listen. Problem solved.
As Breitbart would have said, he weaponized her.
But let’s keep up the fight. Makes no difference. Keep supporting the advertisers who stayed and boycotting the ones who left.
Good idea to order some of rush’s tea in support. Most of us don’t drink iced teas, but one son does love it. I love having rush on the front of the bottles when we go to sports events. :).
It really is tasty. I just now ordered the raspberry and the blueberry. The flavors and clear and fruity, and the tea taste comes through too. I can’t tolerate caffeine, and I don’t drink sweet drinks (not even with real sugar) but my kids do. Only one likes iced tea, and he loves rush’s tea. It’s also fun to have in the car for sports practices, etc. I love having rush on the bottles.
Rush’s apology was only for his use of certain words. He didn’t apologize for his argument against the phony birth control bs. His apology was brilliant. “don’t be mad at the girl or the libs for how they are acting. It’s normal for them. Be mad at me. I lowered myself to their level.” (paraphrasing)
History has shown that Rush will win this one in the court of public opinion, and financially.
In a legal court? Since there is overwhelming evidence that she is, in fact, as slut, please lay out an argument how she was slandered.
To be awarded damages Fluk has to prove she was damaged.
How was Fluk damaged?
By going from nobody who can’t afford condoms to media goddess for a week?
BARRATRY is becoming recognized as a crime akin to ambulance chasing, and laws are being passed to make it illegal.
It is a form of legal extortion and being caught doing it will land the perpetrator(s) in jail in an increasing number of venues.
In venues where it isn’t illegal yet it can give a judge grounds to dismiss, or appeals grounds to reverse.
That apology defused nothing....nada
That activist woman is having her day....defiance would have given him a platform to attack back and define that girl as an imposter victim
Now he just twists in the wind like he did something wrong
Lol...the Rosa Parks irony....
Another phony elevated to sainthood

You can’t “shop” in civil suits - you use the local venue of the plaintiff or the defendant, and the defendant gets preference.
The idea that someone who lives in Virginia can sue a Florida resident in a California or Hawaii or Alaska court is absurd.
As for “proving that she is a slut... “ the defendant doesn’t have to prove anything - the PLAINTIFF has to prove the defendant did an actionable wrong,
Then the PLAINTIFF has to prove they suffered harm from the action.
Aren’t they Pro Flowers? Guess I could be mistaken; it’s happened before.
“kick-ass.” Charming.
